RESUMEN

The calculi must be analyzed to find urolithiasis etiology. This investigation will allow adopting the appropriate action to avoid the stone's recurrence. Infrared spectroscopy, the reference method in calculi analysis, is unfortunately very expensive that we can't use it in our laboratory. In this study, we determine the molecular composition of urinary calculi from children using a simple and inexpensive protocol. We used the chemical method in association with optical method using binocular lens to make it more effective. We applied this protocol in studying urinary calculi collected from forty seven children and we analyzed the results according to clinical and radiological data. Our patients were aged between 2 and 16 years. The majority of them [81%] were aged over 4 years. The vesical calcui represented 51%. The calcium oxalate calculi were dominant [61,7% of cases]. The principal majority component varied according to children's age. At age less than five the major component was calcium phosphate which represented 44% while calcium oxalate represented only 22%. However, at the age of five and over, these kinds of components represented respectively 13,5% and 71% of cases. Struvite, cystin and uric acid were predominant in 6,38% of cases. This protocol allowed us to determine the molecular composition of all studied stones. It had permitted also to identify their etiology in one third of cases and to orient it in the remaining cases

RESUMEN

The total necrosis of penis is a serious complication of circumcision using the electric bistoury. The penis reconstruction was achieved by mobilization of the erectil. body and its detachment from the ischio-pubic branches. In order to avoid recurrence of its adherence to the ischio-pubic branches and to ensure the cutaneous covering of penis, the latter was placed in a scrotal tunnel. After a six-month follew-up, we noted that the child had a good urinary stream and spontaneous erections

RESUMEN

Neuroblastoma occupies the second rank of child malignant tumors. It suffers diagnostic delay that makes these tumors surgically difficult if not surgical at all. Treatment remains essentially tumoral excision associated to chemotherapy. 20 cases were depisted at the children's hospital of Rabat during a twelve years period, 80% of which are classified in stage III Evolution is marked either by complete remission [6 cases], metastases [3 cases] or by a local recur of the tumor [2 cases]. Mortality in our series is 35%

RESUMEN

Hemangioma of the bladder is a rare benign tumor in children and young adults. The lesions may be found at any age and affects both sexes equally. The diagnosis is made by cystoscopic examination. Histologically, the cavernous form of hemangioma is most common. Treatment is by partial cystectomy with favorable prognosis

RESUMEN

Urethral duplicities are scarce malformations dominated by urethral bifidity in "y', sometimes associated to other congenital malformations. Discovery age is generally neonatal. Diagnosis is clinical, anatomic type is determinal by anterograde and retrograde opacifications. Treatment often poses restenosis problems. Two cases are treated at pediatric urology service, whose surgical intervention was a failure in one case; in the other case the reestablishment of urethral conduct is always under way, and we foresee terminal urethrosplasy in the future with a very good prognosis
