RESUMEN
La odontología Forense, es una disciplina que aplica sus conocimientos estomatológicos, teóricos y prácticos para el reconocimiento de cadáveres no identificados y también interviene en aspectos legales relacionados con la responsabilidad profesional de la estomatología; aspecto en el cuál va encaminada la presente investigación; con el propósito de dar a conocer los diferentes peritajes odontológicos forenses que existen y los que se emplean en el país. El presente trabajo ha sido dividido en cuatro fases: En la primera fase se determinan los elementos del diagnóstico presentándose una justificación para sustentar el por qué y para qué del estudio; objetivos generales y específicas, alcances y limitaciones, variables que se estudiarán en la investigación, así como sus respectivos indicadores, unidades de análisis, objeto de transformación y definición de términos básicos de acuerdo a las variables del estudio. En la segunda fase que corresponde al marco de referencia, se incluye la ubicación histórica y evolutiva de la problemática que se estudia (Antecedentes), así como distintos puntos de vista que han planteado algunos expertos o especialistas sobre el tema en estudio (Discusión Bibliográfica). Otros aspectos incluidos en esta fase son las valoraciones propias de los investigadores, a partir de los resultados del diagnóstico. En la tercera fase se detalla la metodología utilizada durante la investigación, es decir la estrategia para la realización del estudio diagnóstico determinando que es lo que se realizó y como. La cuarta fase incluye los resultados del diagnóstico obtenidos por medio de los cuadros estadísticos y descripción de los datos; realizándose un análisis general de la problemática que se estudia en base a los resultados del diagnóstico, comprende también conclusiones generales y específicas y un apartado especial que abarcó las recomendaciones. Al final de esta fase se detalla la bibliografía y se incluyen los anexos correspondientes.
Forensic dentistry is a discipline that applies its stomatological, theoretical and practical knowledge to the recognition of unidentified corpses and also intervenes in legal aspects related to the professional responsibility of stomatology; aspect in which the present investigation is directed; with the purpose of publicizing the different forensic dental expert opinions that exist and those that are used in the country. The present work has been divided into four phases: In the first phase, the elements of the diagnosis are determined, presenting a justification to support the why and for what purpose of the study; general and specific objectives, scope and limitations, variables to be studied in the research, as well as their respective indicators, units of analysis, object of transformation and definition of basic terms according to the variables of the study. In the second phase that corresponds to the frame of reference, the historical and evolutionary location of the problem under study is included (Background), as well as different points of view that some experts or specialists have raised on the subject under study (Bibliographic Discussion) . Other aspects included in this phase are the researchers' own assessments, based on the results of the diagnosis. In the third phase, the methodology used during the investigation is detailed, that is, the strategy for carrying out the diagnostic study, determining what was carried out and how. The fourth phase includes the results of the diagnosis obtained through the statistical tables and description of the data; carrying out a general analysis of the problem being studied based on the results of the diagnosis, it also includes general and specific conclusions and a special section that covered the recommendations. At the end of this phase, the bibliography is detailed and the corresponding annexes are included.
