RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the status quo and influencing factors of occupational identification and turnover intention among pediatric nurses in Tai'an,and analyze the correlation between them, and provide theoretical basis for stabilizing the pediatric nursing team. Methods A cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted among 442 pediatric nurses from 6 hospitals in Tai'an by means of occupational identity rating scale and turnover intention scale. Results The total score of professional identity was (97.45 ± 16.37) points; there was no very low turnover intention individual; the rate of the relative lower turnover intention was 17.87%(79/442); the rate of relative higher turnover intention was 52.26%(231/442); the rate of the very higher turnover intention was 29.86%(132/442). Career identity and dimensions were negatively related to turnover intention(r=-0.476--0.136,P<0.01). Conclusions Occupational identification of pediatric nurses in Tai'an is at a moderate level and the intention to quit is strong. The higher the occupational identification is,the lower the turnover intention of pediatric nurses in Tai'an, therefore, the nursing managers should pay attention to improve the professional identity of pediatric nurses and lower their turnover intention so as to achieve the goal of stabilizing the pediatric nursing team.

RESUMEN

Objective To understand nurses'perceived transformational leadership behaviors of head nurses, and to survey the status quo of transformational leadership behaviors of head nurses and nurses' performance for goal attainment, to explore the relationship between transformational leadership behaviors of head nurses and nurses'performance for goal attainment. Methods A total of 450 clinical nurses from six 3A hospitals were chosen as the research objects, the nurse general information questionnaire, the transformational leadership questionnaire and nurse's performance for goal attainment scale were used to analyze the status. SPSS17.0 was conducted to sort and analyze data. Results (1)The total score of nurses' perceived transformational leadership behaviors of head nurses was 114.74 ± 18.66,and moral modeling score was significantly higher in 4 dimensions. The total score of nurses'performance for goal attainment was 172.87 ± 25.96, autonomous decision-making score was significantly higher in 7 dimensions.(2)There was a positive correlation relationship between transformational leadership behaviors and each dimension of nurses'performance for goal attainment (r=0.393, P<0.01). Conclusions The results show that the nurses'performance for goal attainment can be positive predict by transformational leadership behaviors. Nursing managers should fully play the positive role of transformational leadership behavior so as to improve nurses'performance for goal attainment.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate adverse events report intent and its influencing factors in clinical nurses. Methods Questionnaire investigation was conducted among 917 clinical nurses from ten hospitals in Tai'an city using the Intent to Report Questionnaire. Results The score of clinical nurses adverse events report intent was 36.80 ± 19.71. The score of each dimension in descending order were:nurses operation adverse events, system process adverse events, and patient care adverse events. Hospital levels were significant influencing factors of clinical nurses adverse events report intent. Pressure sores were the most frequently reported, and report of patient injury caused by unreasonable nurse manpower allocation was the lowest frequency. Conclusions The level of clinical nurses adverse events report intent need to be improved. Nursing managers should pay attention to improve nurse reporting adverse event in order to better promote the safety of patients and reduce occurrence of adverse event.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptides ( CCP ) antibodies combined rheumatoid factors (RF) on elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods From January 2012 to December 2014, 29 cases of elder patients in our hospital with rheumatoid arthritis (elder RA group, age >60 year), 47 cases of elderly health control group (elder RA group, age≥60), and 48 cases of elder patients without rheumatoid arthritis (non-elder RA group, age<60 year) were selected. The anti-CCP antibodies and rheumatoid factor (RF) levels of three groups were detected, and the significance of anti-CCP antibody combined RF on the diagnosis of elderly rheumatoid arthritis was analyzed. Results Diagnostic positive rate of anti-CCP antibodies +RF was significantly higher than that of anti-CCP antibodies, and the difference was significant (χ2 =7.632, P =0.006).Diagnostic positive rate of anti-CCP antibodies +RF was higher than that of RF, but the difference was not statistically significant (χ2 =3.107, P=0.078).The diagnostic positive rate of anti-CCP antibodies, RF, and anti-CCP antibodies +RF for diagnosis of elderly rheumatoid arthritis had no statistically difference with that of non-elderly RA group. The sensitivity and negative predictive value of anti-CCP antibodies +RF was higher than that of only anti-CCP antibodies and RF.The area under the ROC curve of detecting anti-CCP +RF was 0.786, which was higher than that of anti-CCP antibodies (0.699) and RF (0.663), indicated that the reliability of anti-CCP antibodies +RF was higher than that of anti-CCP antibodies and RF.Conclusion The anti-CCP antibodies and RF can diagnose elderly rheumatoid arthritis, and anti-CCP antibodies combined RF has more clinical significance.
