[Association of Castleman's disease and Hodgkin lymphoma a case report]

Castelman's disease is an atypical lymphoid proliferation presenting in two different types [localized or multicentric]. The localized form has a better prognosis and a surgical treatment may confer a long remission. Authors report the case of a 43-years-old man who consulted for distal arthralgia and cervical lymphadenopathies. Cervical neck dissection permits a clinical remission during 4 years. The patient reconsulted in 2004 for cervical, axillary and medastinal nodes. Biopsy concluded to an association of Castelman disease and Hodgkin Lymphoma in its nodular sclerosis form. The patient was successfully treated with chimiotherapy. Two years later, he remains asymptomatic with no sign of relapse

[Nevus lipomatosus cutaneous giant of hoffmannn zurhelle a case report]

Nevus lipomatosus cutaneous superficialis [NLCS] of Hoffmann-Zurhelle is a rare hamartomatous skin lesion histologically characterised by the presence of mature fat tissue within the dermis. Clinically, two types of NLCS are distinguished: a multiple type and a solitary type. Illustration of anatomoclinical presentation of this rare lesion and the hypothesis of its pathogenesis. We report a case of a NLCS diagnosed in a 16-year-old girl, which was exceptional by its huge volume. This lesion was localised in the right thigh. The patient underwent wide excision of the mass without complication. The tumoral form is rarely reported in the literature, and its pathogenesis is unknown

[Clear cell sarcoma [malignant melanoma] of soft parts: report of a case]

Clear cell sarcoma [or malignant melanoma] of soft parts is a rare malignancy that is found in the young adults and is generally located in the extremities of the limbs. In this study, we report a new case diagnosed in a 23-year old male revealed by a slowly enlarging mass of the knee. The histopathologic pattern of the mass was composed of nests and stands of fusiform or round cells alternating with bands of sclerotic stroma. The tumoral cells presented abundant, eosinophilic and sometimes clear cytoplasm. Some cells contain brown pigment which is Fontana [+]. Vimentin, S100 protein and HMbeta45 antibodies were expressed by the tumoral cells confirming the diagnosis of soft tissue clear cell sarcoma. We bring back 3 observations of carcinoideses gastric tumors whose surgical treatment was not possible that at a patient aged of 30 years. The evolution was favorable with 3 years of receding. The treatment of carcinoideses gastric tumors remains essentially surgical but the sporadic shapes that are most aggressive require a more vigorous therapeutic attitude

Les gastrites granulomateuses a propos de huit observations

The authors report 8 cases of granulomatous gastritis with different etiology. The symptomatology is dominated by stomach aches. The endoscopic lesions present in 5 cases a tumoral aspect. The diagnosis of idiopathic granulomatous gastritis is only retained in the absence of specific histologic lesions and in the negativity of the clinical and paraclinic examinations

The authors report 11 cases of mesenchymatous tumors of the corpus uteri. 1/5 of tumors are benign, constituted by endometrial stroma nodule and 4/5 are malignant, the main group of these tumors are leiomyosarcoma and mullerian mixed tumors. The mitotic index may be helpful to as certain the malignant nature of the tumors
