RESUMEN

Executing some nursing and medicine activities, may increase the production of Free Radicals of Electrons, which results in a kind of oxidative stresses when Anti-oxidants fail to defend the body So the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of suction with a tube located inside the Trachea on the amount of Oxidative Stress Indexes on C.A.B.G patients. This is a clinical trial study. A number of 35 patients were under CABG and they had a endothrachial tube and were under Mechanical Ventilation. In this method, first blood sampling is performed in 3 times [before and right after the suction and 15 minutes after the suction]. Then, the amount of Catalyse Anti- Oxidants and Super Oxide Dismutase are measured. The results showed that means of Super Oxide Dismutase in periods of before and right after the suction and 15 minutes after the suction had a meaningful differences and a raising trend. [P<0.05]. However in the case of Catalyse in the same mentioned periods there was no significant. Suction is a radical bringing process, which apposes some changes on the activities of Anti-oxidants. When Anti- oxidants fail to defend [the body], oxidative stress emerges. Therefore, necessary amendment programs needed to amend the above-mentioned process according the scientific researches

RESUMEN

Depression is considered as one of the most important causes of academic failure in educational systems, leading to decreased social, professional and educational performance. Therefore, timely diagnosis of this disorder contributes to prevention of educational failure among students, providing an opportunity for social success during academic years and also promoting mental health in educational settings. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of depression among students of medicines and also its relationship with academic failure in Jahrom University Medical Science. This cross-sectional study was performed on all the students [150]. The students were divided into successful and unsuccessful groups. Beck questionnaire as well as a questionnaire for demographic data especially those related to depression were used, The collected data were statistically analyzed, using SPSS 11.5. 45.4% of the students had mild to severe depression and there was a significant relationship between depression and academic achievement [P=0.004]. 39.4% of the unsuccessful students and 75% of the successful ones had mild to moderate depression. There was no significant relationship between depression and sex, field of study, occupation and level of parental education. According to the findings, there is a high prevalence of depression especially among unsuccessful students. Therefore, it is recommended that the students' mental and personal problems be followed up and specific consultation centers be setup to Solve this problem

RESUMEN

One of the main factors that can promote education from a static to a dynamic and effective state is evaluation. Also evaluation of educational program quality is a feedback of how educational process performed in various stage. In additions, evaluation is the most effective means for improving the quality of education, and determines weak and strength points of education process. This study has been designed as an internal evaluation project by cooperation of pediatric group and education and development center of Jahrom medical school. In this study, a few factors of educational system evaluated by use of objective based model, includes; specific objectives, management of educational planning trainess [extern and intern students], faculty member, educational facilities and equipments, teaching and learning process and assessment learning. Data was obtained by three questionnaire desirable, checklist, observation and interview with medical student, pediatric faculty member, and pediatric ward personnel. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics. The result showed pediatric group manager and educational equipment teaching as semi desirable situation, learning process as desirable situation to as semi desirable, faculty member has good educational round. Index's in research activity such as number of paper, research designed and written books, in 1383 year had semi-desirable but this situation had desirable in 1385, According to our result pediatric ward has a good to moderate situation in regard to various criteria, and to improve this situation, a suitable planning and program should be designed to respond to weak and strength point
