Effect of the bucco-lingual psition of artificial psterior teeth on the denture supporting bone of the edentulous patient

To improve the complete denture quality, the bucco-lingual position of the artificial posterior teeth has to be determined in relation to the shape of the residual alveolar ridges and their relationship. The arrangement of posterior artificial teeth should be considered not only for the denture stability but also to avoid the high pressure on supporting structures.
