RESUMEN

This study was conducted on 40 spastic cerebral palsied children to investigate the effect of 2% lidocaine/epinephrine iontophoresis on the reduction of spasticity of hip adductors, knee extensors and ankle planter-flexors and improving gait parameters. A new innovation was made to deliver medication to the three muscle groups to have the same effect at the same time. The results confirmed the efficacy of lidocaine iontophoresis in reduction of spasticity and improvement of motor control and gait performance to cerebral palsied children
