RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE@#To compare clinical effects of the improved interface screw fixation of femoral end of anterior cruciate ligament with classic femoral lateral loop plate fixation.@*METHODS@#A retrospective analysis of 65 patients who underwent arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction from January 2019 to September 2021 were performed. According to the different fixation methods of the femoral side, 35 patients were divided into loop plate fixation(loop plate group), including 27 males and 8 females, aged from 18 to 50 years old with an average of (35.00±7.60) years old;30 patients in interface screw fixation(interface screw group), including 20 males and 10 females, aged from 18 to 50 years old with an average of (32.00±8.50) years old. Hospital stay, hospital expenses, operation time, complications, C-reactive protein at 1, 3, 6 days after operation, and postoperative Lysholm score and International Knee Documentation Committee(IKDC) score at 18 months were compared between two groups.@*RESULTS@#All patients were successfully operated, and obtained follow-up from 18 to 36 months with an average of (25.16±4.50) months. Anterior drawer test and Lachman test of all patients turned to negative. There were no statistical differences in hospital stay, hospital expenses and complications between two groups(P>0.05);operation time in loop plate group was (74.00±6.84) min, and (91.67±6.34) min in interface screw group, and had difference between two groups(P<0.05). C-reactive protein on the 1st and 3rd day after operation was (40.00±10.10), (20.00±8.23) mg·L-1 in loop plate group, and (60.00±8.93), (30.00±8.66) mg·L-1 in interface nail group, had statistical difference between two groups (P<0.05);while there was no difference in C-reactive protein on the 6th day after operation(P>0.05). At 18 months after operation, Lysholm and IKDC scores showed no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05). In loop plate group, medullary enlargement on coronal and sagittal views were (2.75±0.19) mm, (1.55±0.25) mm, and (2.81±0.22) mm, (1.61±0.20) mm in interface screw group, and had statistical difference between two groups(P<0.05).@*CONCLUSION@#In the reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament, the common interface screw on the femoral side is changed to the sheath interface screw, and intramedullary screw is changed to the compression and fixation of tendon from outside to inside of joint. Although the operation procedure is relatively complicated and operation time is slightly longer, it has advantages of no residual metal foreign body after operation, and clinical effect is no different from classical loop plate suspension fixation, which is still a good choice.

RESUMEN

Objective: To expore the correlation between neck disability, neck pain and muscle strength in cervical pondylosis of office worker, and to provide scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of cervical spondylosis. Methods: In April 2021 ,234 patients with cervical spondylotic myelopathy treated in the Subsidiary Rehabilitation Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2015 to April 2017 were selected, the correlation between Neck Disability Index (NDI) score, neck pain and muscle strength was analyzed using the Spearman rank correlation method. Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the difference of maximum muscle strength of isometric contraction. Results: NDI score was negatively correlated with neck flexion, extension, and muscle strength in the left and right flexion directions (r(s)=-0.164, -0.169, -0.222, -0.176, P=0.012, 0.010, 0.001 , 0.007). In mild and moderate functional disorder patients, the muscle strength in flexion, extension and left and right flexion direction was greater, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). Conclusion: There is a negative correlation between cervical functional disorder and cervical muscle strength in office workers, suggesting that strengthening cervical muscle strength may be a way to improve cervical spine function.

RESUMEN

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To evaluate the effect of snail control through soil pasting mixed with niclosamide.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Four sites were selected in different epidemic areas in Sichuan province. Soil pasting mixed with niclosamide was carried on, and the dosage was 0 g/m2, 4 g/m2, 6 g/m2, 8 g/m2 and 10 g/m2 respectively. The mortality rate of snail and the density of snail were observed after 7, 15, 30, 90 and 180 days.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The mortality rate of snail was more than 43.3% in blank group after 30 days. The mortality rate of snail was from 75.3% to 100.0% at 4 g/m2 group after 30 days. The mortality rate of snail in 4 g/m2 group was significantly higher than that in the blank group (chi2 = 31.27, P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the mortality rate of snail among all study groups (chi2 = 1.07, P > 0.05). The decrease rate of snail density was more than 90%. The mortality rate of snail was about 30% higher in Chantu group than Qutu group. The unit cost of Pasting-Mixing Drug with Soil was from 5 to 7 times of spray method, but the total cost was similar for the. two methods at the endpoint of the snail control.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The effect of soil pasting mixed with niclosamide is good, and the dosage of 4-6 g/m2 is suggested in snail control.</p>

RESUMEN

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To evaluate the effect of surgical manipulation on the dissemination of cancer cells into blood circulation in patients with gastric cancer and to analyze its risk factors.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>This study included 45 consecutive patients with gastric cancer undergoing curative resection and 13 control cases (10 healthy persons and 3 patients with peptic ulcer receiving gastrectomy). Peripheral blood was obtained preoperatively and just after surgical manipulation. The mRNA levels of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) from the blood samples were assayed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) and compared between the 2 groups.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>CEA mRNA was negative in all control cases. Of the 45 gastric cancer patients, the preoperative positive rate of CEA mRNA was 8.9%, while the postoperative positive rate was 48.9%, which was significantly higher than that of preoperation (P=0.000). Multivariable Logistic regression analysis showed that operative duration (P=0.014) and tumor depth (P=0.010) were independent risk factors for cancer cell dissemination. Furthermore, the operative duration in patients with positive postoperative CEA mRNA was markedly longer than that in patients with negative postoperative CEA mRNA (P=0.000), and positive rate of postoperative CEA mRNA in advanced gastric cancer was higher compared with that in early gastric cancer (P=0.034).</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>Surgical manipulation of curative gastrectomy can provoke dissemination of cancer cells into blood circulation, and the operative duration and tumor invasion depth may be 2 of the risk factors for cancer cell dissemination.</p>

RESUMEN

@#ObjectiveTo observe the effects of acupuncture combined with massage on shoulder subluxation and motor function recovery of the upper extremities in patients with hemiplegia after stroke.Methods60 hemiplegic patients were randomly divided into two groups for treatment with acupuncture cooperates with massage or usual rehabilition, respectively. The recovery of the patient's shoulder subluxation and movement function of upper extremities were evaluated 2 months after treatment. ResultsThe shoulder subluxation and movement function of the upper extremities were improved after treatment with both therapies (P<0.01), and acupuncture cooperates with massage showed better effect (P<0.01). ConclusionAcupuncture cooperates with massage can facilitate the recovery of shoulder subluxation and motor function of the upper extremities after hemiplegia.
