Objective To explore the experience and causes of self-neglect of elderly diabetic patients in community,so as to provide references for community nursing workers to identify and intervene the self-neglect behavior of elderly diabetic patients. Methods An interpretative phenomenological method was used to collect data from elderly diabetic patients registered in 3 community health service centers in Hangzhou,Zhejiang Province through semi-structured interviews.Van Manen's method was used to analyze qualitative data. Results The experience and reasons of self-neglect of elderly diabetic patients in community were summarized into 4 themes and 10 sub-themes,including neglecting personal health(low sense of self-worth,high level of self-esteem,being afraid of compromising the family),neglecting blood glucose management(weak health awareness, difficulty in blood glucose management),inadequate self-care capacity(poor financial situation, insufficient personal time, diminished mobility)and inadequate perceived support(low social support, insufficient emotional support). Conclusion The experience and reasons of self-neglect of elderly diabetic patients in community are diversified.Community health services and nursing workers should pay attention to the performance of self-neglect behavior of elderly diabetic patients and actively explore effective prevention and intervention measures.

Objective@#To explore the night sleep quality of shift nurses and the current situation of their daytime tiredness, sleepiness, and to provide evidence for nursing administrators and managers to allocate human resources reasonably and prevent adverse events.@*Methods@#The cross-sectional method was utilized to conduct a questionnaire survey among shift nurses in a tertiary teaching hospital in Shandong Province from March to May inclusive, 2017.@*Results@#There was a total of 233 valid questionnaires returned. The prevalence of sleep disorder, daytime tiredness and sleepiness was 45.92%, 16.31% and 13.30%, respectively. The differences of the nurses' sleep quality at night between different ages, marriages, educational backgrounds and professional titles were statistically significant (P<0.05) , while the differences of daytime burnout and sleep state between different shift systems were statistically significant (P<0.01) . Night sleep quality was positively correlated with daytime tiredness and sleepiness (P<0.05) . The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that age, marriage, educational background and professional title had an impact on nurses' sleep quality at night (P<0.05) . Shift system had an impact on nurses' daytime burnout and sleep apnea (P<0.01) .@*Conclusion@#There was a high prevalence of night sleep disorder, daytime tiredness and sleepiness among the shift nurses. Nursing administrators and managers should pay more attention to the night sleep quality of nurses who aged over 30 years old, married, without a bachelor degree and those with a lower professional rank. Furthermore, the current situation of daytime tiredness and sleepiness among two-shift only nurses was worrisome.

Objective To explore the impact of nursing intervention on quality of life of blood dialysis patients. Methods 60 cases of hemodialysis patients were selected and divided into the experimental group and the control group with 30 patients in each group. The control group was given conventional nursing, while the experimental group was given systematic health education and psychological nursing. The differences in life quality before and after the intervention in the experimental group was evaluated with self-designed questionnaire. The changes in motor function, psychological function, social function, and material life were compared before and after the intervention between two groups. Results After the intervention, the score of motor function, psychological function and total evaluation of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group. Conclusions Nursing intervention can effectively alleviate the discomfort feeling of patients, reduce their mental pressure, increase their quality of life.Nursing intervention is closely related with quality of life.

Objective To investigate the early nursing intervention on recovery of upper limb edema after radical mastectomy, and subjective comfort of patients and satisfaction degree with the service quality of nursing staff. Methods 70 patients according to different methods of nursing intervention were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 35 patients in each group. The observation group was given comprehensive care, including psychological care, raising affected limb, strengthen the training arm function, conducting various forms of aerobic motion, pressure gloves and massage, hot packs, physical therapy, the use of elastic bandages, guidance and other aspects of hospital care. The control group only received routine care. The nursing effect, subjective comfort degree, satisfaction degree with the service quality, time of edema alleviation and disappearance and hospitalization time of two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, nursing effect of the observation group was better, subjective comfort of patients and the satisfaction degree with the quality of service significantly improved, and the time of edema alleviation and hospitalization time was significantly shorter, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions Early implementation of nursing interventions for patients with limb swelling after radical operation of breast cancer can improve patients satisfaction degree, promote the recovery of upper limb edema, reduce hospital stay.

OBJECTIVE To estimate the prevalence of nosocomial infections(NI)and the use of antibacterials in pediatric department, find the problems in management of hospital infection and provide the scientific basis for formulating prevention and control measures.METHODS By bed-visiting and patients' medical records checking,we filled out unified case questionnaire. All patients were investigated on August 22,2007.RESULTS Of the 86 patients investigated, the prevalence rate of NI was 4.65%.There were 19 kinds of antibiotics used daily. The daily antibiotics use rate was 95.35%;all of the infection sites were in upper respiratory tract and delivering rate of bacterial culture was only 14.63%.CONCLUSIONS Management and training should be strengthened on antibacterial drug in the pediatric department. The reasonable use of target antibiotics could prevent the abuse ment.

Objective To investigate the short and long term effect of mifepristone on hysteromyoma. Methods The treatment group ( n=60 ) was given mifepristone and the control group ( n=60 ) vitamin C.The volume of hysteromyoma was measured using B-mode ultrasound prior to and at the end of treatment.L H,FSH,E2 progesterone ( P) ,liver function and blood creatinine were monitored each month. At the second year,3 0 cases from treatmentgroup were given mifepristone again for 3 months in the same way as the first course and with the same indexes monitored. Results Mifepristone had1 0 0 % effective rate with one-course curative rate of6.67% ,the hysteromyoma volume decreased by an average of at least 3 5.1 0 % ,while the volume gradually increased over 6months after discontinuing mifepristone with the recurrence rate of3 0 .0 0 % .At the second course of treatment hysteromyoma was further reduced by50 .2 0 % ,with the scope of reduction larger than thatatthe firstcourse( P

Effects of glucose concentration and pH\|control upon production of exopolysaccharides of Grifola frondosa was studied. The results showed that glucose at concentration of 5% was favorable to exopolysaccharides production, and the pellets benefited from the controlled start pH as well as the controlled final pH of 3 5~4 0 to produce exopolysaccharides.Attempt on the exopolysaccharides production with recycled pellets in the saccharoid solution was also made in this work.

Four Polystictus Versicolor PVC0? PVC1? PVC2 ?PVC3 were examined for their decolorization ability to simulative refinery effluents and biodegradation ability to HADP'S, Melanoidin, Caramel The effect of effluent colorants on the yield of four Polystictus Versicolor biomass and mycelium polysaccarride(PSK) was also studied PVC0 showed the best decolorization ability and the high biomass; although the PSK content of PVC0 is less than PVC1, its yield of mycelium PSK is the highest Chosen PVC0 as the research strain The result showed that the rate of decolorization of PVC0 to 75% concentration real refinery effluents is 53% Which is less than to the simulative refinery effluent decolorization rate 71% Real refinery effluents and simulative refinery effluent has the same PVC0 biomass and PSK yield
