RESUMEN
Objetivo Analisar o efeito da estimulação dos pontos de acupuntura, no tratamento da obesidade. Métodos Estudo Clínico Randomizado com abordagem quali-quantitativa, realizado no período de setembro a dezembro de 2012 e março a maio de 2013. Avaliou-se o Índice de Massa Corporal (IMC), circunferência abdominal e questionário fechado antes do início e ao final do tratamento. A amostra foi constituída de 27 participantes, divididos em três grupos: tratamento "T1" e "T2" submetidos acupuntura sistêmica, auriculoterapia, atividade física e reorientação alimentar e grupo Controle "C" à atividade física e reorientação alimentar. Resultados Ao final da pesquisa nota-se no grupo tratamento "T1" redução de IMC em 67%, e de circunferência abdominal em 78%. No grupo tratamento "T2" redução no IMC em 56% e de circunferência abdominal em 67%. E o grupo controle "C" a redução de no IMC em 89% e de circunferência abdominal em 67%. Conclusão Os resultados dos tratamentos propostos, trouxeram benefícios para os grupos, contribuindo para reconhecimento da prática de acupuntura e a prática terapêutica, tem capacidade de melhorar outros aspectos da vida de seus pacientes.
Objective To analyze the effectiveness of the stimulation of acupuncture, points in the treatment of obesity. Methods Randomized Clinical Study with qualitative and quantitative approach, carried out from September to December 2012 and from March to May 2013. We evaluated Body Mass Index (BMI), abdominal circumference (AC) in 27 participants through the BMI calculation and waist circumference and closed questionnaire before the start and the end of treatment. The sample consisted of 27 participants, divided into three groups: treatment "T1" and "T2" submitted systemic acupuncture, auriculotherapy, physical activity and eating reorientation and Control group "C" to physical activity and eating reorientation. Results At the end of the study it is observed in the treatment group "T1" reduced by 67% BMI and waist circumference 78%. In treatment group "T2" reduced by 56% BMI and waist circumference 67%. And the control group "C" the reduction in BMI in 89% and waist circumference by 67%. Conclusion The results of proposed treatments have benefits for groups, contributing to recognition of acupuncture practice, therapeutic practice has ability to improve other aspects of life of their patients.

Objetivo Analisar a eficácia da estimulação dos pontos de acupuntura na dor lombar. Métodos Estudo Clínico Randomizado com abordagem quali-quantitativa, realizado no período de setembro a dezembro de 2012 e março a maio de 2013. Avaliou-se a intensidade da dor lombar e o grau de satisfação ao tratamento, através da Escala Visual Analógica e questionário fechado antes do início e ao final do tratamento. Amostra constituída de 27 participantes, divididos em três grupos: Tratamento "T1" e "T2" submetidos a Acupuntura sistêmica, auriculoterapia e grupo Controle "C" à hidroterapia. Resultados Mostram quanto à intensidade de dor, a prevalência da dor moderada de 67% a 56% dos participantes nos grupos "T1" e "T2" antes do início das sessões de Acupuntura, e após 10 sessões a prevalência passou a ser 78% a 67% de dor leve. E o grupo controle "C" a prevalência da dor intensa em 78% dos participantes no início da pesquisa e após passou a 78% de dor moderada. Em relação ao grau de satisfação aos tratamentos aplicados, nota-se que 96% relataram total satisfação. Conclusão Nota-se que houve uma diminuição da intensidade da dor tanto no grupo tratamento com Acupuntura sistêmica, como no de Acupuntura auricular, observa-se que o grupo tratamento com Acupuntura sistêmica apresentou uma resposta mais eficaz em relação ao grupo tratamento com Acupuntura auricular a dor lombar.

Results Show how the intensity of pain, the prevalence of moderate pain from 67% to 56% of participants in groups "T1" and "T2" before the start of acupuncture sessions, and after 10 sessions the prevalence became 78% to 67 % of mild pain. And the control group "C" the prevalence of pain in 78% of participants at baseline and after went to 78% of moderate pain. Regarding the degree of satisfactin to the applied treatments, note the 96% reported complete satisfaction. Conclusion Note that there was a decrease in pain intensity in both the treatment group with systemic acupuncture, as in auricular acupuncture, it is observed that treatment with systemic acupuncture group showed a more effective response in relation to the treatment group with auricular acupuncture pain lumbar.
