The present work aimed to study the efficiency of diode laser trabeculoplasty in the reduction of intraocular pressure. 10 patients [17 eyes] with medically uncontrolled open angle glaucoma were included in this study. It was found that the mean changes of intraocular pressure after diode laser trabeculoplasty were-5.75 +/- SD 1.63 mmHg at one month postoperatively, -6.46 +/- SD 1.76 mmHg at two months postoperatively and -5.85 +/- SD 1.63 mmHg at three-four months postoperatively
