We present a 34-year old mother of 12 children with stress fracture of pedicles third lumbar vertebra due to stress of repeated pregnancies in short interval. Such fractures are reported in association with unilateral spondylolysis and also in competitive sports persons. To our knowledge, such an injury is not reported in a non-sporting individual
