Possibilidades militantes na liquidez contemporânea / Activism possibilities in contemporary liquidiness

Cada vez mais múltiplas organizações (movimentos sociais, coletivos, grupos, etc.) surgem na tentativa de lutar pelas mais diversas causas que envolvem a possibilidade de ser e estar no mundo. Nessa esteira, este trabalho propõe problematizar a militância na contemporaneidade através da compreensão da liquidez das instituições e das relações no contemporâneo. Para isso, nos dedicamos a refletir sobre nossas atuais condições de existência na fluidez social que vivemos, procurando pensar sobre as possibilidades de inter-relações nesse contexto. Em seguida, realizamos um resgate sóciohistórico da militância, tentando identificar as diferentes formas que ela assume ao longo da história através dos movimentos sociais. Finalmente, propomos debater as possibilidades militantes nessa liquidez, avaliando e questionando algumas estratégias ativas e potencialmente subversivas na contemporaneidade.

Day by day, multiple organizations (social movements, collectivity, groups, etc.) are created in an attempt to fight, through different number of reasons, for possibilities of being in (and belonging to) this world. On this track, this study suggests to problematize activism in the contemporary world through the comprehension of the liquidness of institutions and relationships in present day experience. For that matter we dedicate ourselves at discussing our present conditions of existence diluted in this social fluidity in which we live, trying to think on the possibilities of inter-relationships grounded in this context. After words, we do a social-historical rescue of activism, trying to identify the different forms it had undertaken throughout history, inside the social activity movements. Finally, we propose the debate about the activism possibilities in this fluid, fast liquidness of contemporary world, evaluating and questioning some active and potentially subversive strategies in the contemporanety.

Inventando a contra-mola que resiste: um estudo sobre a militância na contemporaneidade / Inventing the opposing-spring that resists: a study on the spirit of militancy in contemporaneity

Este artigo procura problematizar a militância na contemporaneidade a partir de entrevistas realizadas com militantes de movimentos sociais. Discute as possibilidades de construções militantes na atualidade a partir do conceito de modernidade líquida, que nos auxilia na compreensão das possibilidades de ser e estar no mundo, e da idéia de invenção, que busca a desconstrução das evidências do senso comum, deixando de entender os objetos de estudo como naturais ou permanentes, compreendendo-os como transitórios e construídos. Buscamos, assim, produzir este estranhamento com a questão da militância para que os olhares e as perspectivas de sua compreensão da militância sejam ampliados para além de estereótipos e pré-conceitos.

This paper aims at querying the spirit of militancy in contemporaneity, studying interviews performed with several social movement activists. It discusses the possibilities of militant activity development in present times, after the concept of liquid modernity, which will help us to comprehend the possibilities of being and belonging in the world; and the idea of invention, that seeks to deconstruct the evidences of common sense, abandoning the under-standing that the objects of research are natural or permanent, understanding them as ephemeral and in construction. Thus, we seek to produce this estrangement with the matter of militancy so that the views and perspectives of its comprehension may be enhanced far beyond the stereotypes and preconceptions.
