Cytophotometric estimation of hepatocytes DNA in chronic liver fascioliasis

The aim of the present work was to evaluate the estimation of hepatocytes DNA in chronic stages of liver fascioliasis as a diagnostic feature for early preneoplastic changes. The results revealed that, fascioliasis is a chronic destructive disease of liver ending by liver cirrhosis which may be one of the predisposing factors of neoplastic transformation together with the other causes of chronic liver disease
