RESUMEN

@#AIM: To investigate the effect of puerarin combined with lecithin complex iodine tablets on hemostasis in patients with fundus hemorrhage.
METHODS: Totally 66 patients with fundus hemorrhage who entered into our hospital from April 2016 to March 2017 were collected and randomly divided into 2 groups: group A and group B, 33 cases(50 eyes)in each group. Group A was treated with lecithin complex iodine tablets, and group B was treated with puerarin combined with lecithin complex iodine tablets. Plasma viscosity index, serum homocysteine(Hcy), total cholesterol(TC)and triglyceride(TG)were measured and compared within 2 groups. The therapeutic effects and adverse reactions were compared between 2 groups.
RESULTS: Before treatment, there were no significant differences in plasma viscosity, serum Hcy, TC and TG between 2 groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the high blood viscosity, low blood viscosity, low plasma viscosity, plasma viscosity, Hcy, TC and TG in 2 groups had decreased than before treatment(P<0.001). Compared with group A, the high blood viscosity, low blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, Hcy, TC and TG had decreased(P<0.05). The total effect of group B were better than group A(P<0.05). The adverse reaction like thyroid changes, gastrointestinal reactions, mental excitement and bloating happened in 2 groups. There was no significant difference in the adverse reaction rate between 2 groups(P>0.05).
CONCLUSION: The efficacy of puerarin combined with lecithin complex iodine tablets in the treatment of fundus hemorrhage is significant, which is related to improving plasma viscosity and decreasing serum Hcy, TC and TG.

RESUMEN

This paper studied the HPLC and NIRS fingerprints of Chrysanthemum with different processing methods, including directly drying, drying after steamed, and drying after fried. The method of discriminant analysis of TQ software was used to analysis the NIRS fingerprint of Chrysanthemum with three different processing methods, and the results were consistent with HPLC fingerprint similarity analysis. NIRS and HPLC fingerprints were of different characteristics, and the combination of the two methods can quickly and accurately identify Chrysanthemum with different processing methods.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVETo investigate the development, distribution and GLUT-1 expression of infantile hemangioma and to discuss the early surgical intervention for better results and avoiding severe complication.

METHODSThe lesion site of each case was recorded and analyzed by SPSS V13.0 to study the distribution. The operation was guided by the principle of plastic surgery to remove the hemangioma. The GLUT-1 expression was detected by immunohistochemical technique in all the resected samples.

RESULTSAll the results were satisfactory. The GLUT-1 expression was positive in all the cases. The incidences in different sites were significantly different (P < 0.05). 71.7% of the hemangiomas were located at upper and lower lip, periorbital region and facial midline. It indicates that hemangioma is not randomly distributed. Most of them were located at the fusion of facial prominences during embryological development.

CONCLUSIONSInfantile facial hemangioma maybe originated from endothelial progenitor cells of placenta which migrate and implant on the fusion of facial prominences. Early surgical intervention is one of the best choice for infantile facial hemangioma.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVETo evaluate clinical effects of two types of nickel-titanium rotary instruments in preparation of molars' root canals.

METHODS100 molars with pupal and periapical involvement were instrumented by Protaper and Hero642 files with crown-down technique. All teeth were obturated with lateral condensation method. Straightening of canal curvature was determined. The efficiency of preparation and obturation was analyzed with radiograph before, during and after operation.

RESULTSThe operating time of each NiTi group was short. The two NiTi rotary instruments could achieve continuously tapered root canal shape. The curvature of the canal reduced by -4.02 degrees +/- 2.80 degrees with Protaper and 1.72 degrees with Hero642 (P < 0.001). Five pieces of Protaper with broken, whereas no Hero642 was broken (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONSProtaper, Hero642 files showed good shaping ability and improved predictability in root canal obturation. Protaper can lessen canal curvature more significantly. Hero642 files are easy to operate and not easy to separate.
