RESUMEN

Interleukins (ILs) and associated cytokines serve as the means of communication for immune cells and non-immune cells. The use of ILs in harnessing the immune system to cancer treatment has been a promising approach. ILs not only nurture an environment enabling cancer growth but also simultaneously trigger a productive tumor-directed immune response. These properties of ILs are increasingly being explored as a strategy to improve the outcomes of cancer. Here, we describe recently innovative technological approaches that have been developed to improve the pharmacokinetics, safety, and efficacies of IL-2, 15, 10, and 18 in the treatment of melanoma. Furthermore, the combination of ILs and immune checkpoint inhibition may synergize to reshape the tumor environment, thus yielding better clinical benefits in the future.

RESUMEN

Purpose@#The aim of the study was to evaluate the status of psychological resilience among women in their second pregnancy and to investigate the possible influencing factors. @*Methods@#A total of 275 women in their second pregnancy and who met the criteria were surveyed from two public hospitals in China from July 2018 to January 2019. The instruments included the General Self-designed Questionnaire, Connor–Davidson Resilience Scale, Social Support Rate Scale, and 36-item Pregnancy Stress Rating Scale. @*Results@#The total psychological resilience score of second-pregnancy women was relatively low. Multivariate regression analysis identified five factors associated with psychological resilience: intimacy with husbands, social support utilization, gender of the first child, high-risk pregnancy of the first child, and the stress caused by worrying about the health and safety of the mother and fetus. @*Conclusion@#Women in their second pregnancy represent a unique population, and their low psychological resilience score deserves attention. Identification of factors contributing to decreased psychological resilience may enable us to design prevention and intervention strategies and to deliver specific psychological supports to pregnant women at high risk of developing negative psychology.

RESUMEN

Objective:To study the HPLC fingerprint of Ningxinbao capsules, and establish a method for the simultaneous content determination of uracil, uridine, adenine and adenosine. Methods: The separation was carried out on an Agilent Zorbax SB-Aq C18 column(250 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5μm) with gradient elution using methanol-0. 05 mol·L-1 potassium dihydrogen phosphate at 30℃ and at a flow rate of 1. 0 ml·min-1 , the detection wavelength was 212 nm for fingerprint and 260 nm for the determination of the four nu-cleosines. Totally 10 batches of samples were analyzed with the developed HPLC fingerprint and the determination method, the data calculation was performed with similarity evaluation system in the chromatographic fingerprint of TCM. Results: In the fingerprint, 10 common peaks were marked and the separation of the four nucleosines was good. Conclusion:The method is simple and reliable. The HPLC fingerprint and contents of the four nucleosines in Ningxinbao capsules can be used for the quality control.

RESUMEN

With the understanding of tumor metabolism, the process and mechanism of tumor metabolic reprogramming gradually attracted much attention in recent years.Oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes are constantly changing the pathway and flux of tumor metabolism in tumorigenesis to meet the needs of tumor growth and proliferation. The role of c-MYC, TP53, HIF-1αas well as the related signal pathways in tumor metabolic reprogramming would be discussed.
