RESUMEN

Objective To explore the effect of developed operating instrument set for cesarean section. Methods Toally 216 parturients to undergo cesarean section in our hospital during May to December 2014 , were divided into observation group and control group, 108 cases in each group:in the observation group the developed operating instrument set was used and in the control one, the routine operating instrument set was used. The two groups were compared in terms of contamination rate and the time for postoperative operating room preparation. Results The contamination rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.01). The time for postoperative operating room preparation of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group (P < 0.01). Conclusion The developed operating instrument set can reduce the rate of contamination at the operated area during cesarean section and shortned the time for postoperative operating room preparation , thus enhancing the work efficiency.

RESUMEN

Objective To explore the nursing cooperation in use of lung inflation system for video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) for spontaneous pneumothorax. Method The key nursing points in nursing 42 patients with spontaneous pneumothorax undergoing VATS were analyzed. Results The operations were all successful. One patient contracted lower left atelectasis but it was cured after the tracheal tube was re-adjusted. On day one, there were two cases of gas leakage during thoracic closed drainage:one was of diffuse pulmonary bulla, and the gas leakage stopped on the second day; In the other cases, the gas leakage stopped 2 days after the tube was withdrawn by 3cm probably because the drainage tube was inserted too deep at the beginning. 6-30 months follow-ups showed no recurrence of pneumothorax in the operated site. Conclusions The lung inflation system is safe during VATS for spontaneous pneumothorax. Careful preoperative preparation of the equipment and skillful nursing cooperation at all procedures are critical for the success of VATS.

RESUMEN

Objective To study the effects of closed self-help sterile gloves wearing in surgical operations. Methods One hundred surgical personnel were randomly divided into two groups:the observation group(n=51)using the closed self-help gloves wearing and the control group(n=49)using the conventional wearing. The two group were compared about the rates of edge curling of the gloves and cuff exposure.Result The closed self-help gloves wearing group had significantly lower rates of edge curling and cuff exposure than the control group(P<0.05,for both). Conclusion Closed self-help gloves wearing can effectively prevent the edge from curling during wearing gloves and reduce cuff exposure in the operation so as to reduce the risk of surgical contaminations.
