RESUMEN

Objective:To investigate the interaction of B-group streptococcal infection and chorioamnionitis (CAM) with late pregnancy and low birth weight infant (LBWI).Methods:A retrospective study was conducted on 524 postpartum women who underwent regular prenatal examinations and completed delivery at the Taizhou Second People′s Hospital from October 2019 to April 2022. According to their newborn birth weight, they were divided into normal group (466 cases) and LBWI group (58 cases). The age, pregnancy times, birth times, pregnancy body mass index (BMI), cesarean section history, abortion history, anemia during pregnancy, hypertensive disorder during pregnancy, diabetes during pregnancy, vaginitis, B-group streptococcal infection, CAM, premature rupture of membranes, postpartum hemorrhage, puerperal infection, neonatal preterm delivery, neonatal asphyxia, neonatal infection, fetal distress were compared between the two groups. The influencing factors of LBWI were analyzed using logistic regression. The correlation and interaction between B-group streptococcal infection and CAM on LBWI were analyzed. Results:There was a statistically significant difference in age, history of miscarriage, gestational hypertension, vaginitis, B-group streptococcal infection, CAM, premature rupture of membranes, neonatal preterm birth, neonatal infection and fetal distress between the two groups (all P<0.05). The results of logistic regression analysis showed that gestational hypertension, B-group streptococcal infection, CAM, premature rupture of membranes, preterm birth, neonatal infection, and fetal distress were risk factors for LBWI (all P<0.05). B-group streptococcal infection, CAM, and LBWI were positively correlated ( r=0.587, 0.604, all P<0.001). The interaction analysis results showed a positive correlation between B-group streptococcal infection, CAM, and LBWI (all P<0.001). Conclusions:B-group streptococcal infection in late pregnancy, CAM, and LBWI are positively correlated, and their coexistence can increase the risk of LBWI.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigation the radioactivity level of 90Sr in tea leaves within and outside 30 km range of Ningde nuclear power plant. Methods The tea leaves within and outside the 30 km range of Ningde Nuclear Power Plant were collected from 2013 to 2018. According to“Radiochemical analysis of strontium-90 in water and ash of biological samples” (HJ 815—2016), the separation and analysis of 90Sr-90Y were carried outusing the method of di (2-ethylhexyl) phosphate (HDEHP) chromatography. Results During the period of 2013-2018, the radioactivity concentrations of 90Sr in the tea leaves within the range of 30 km around the Ningde nuclear power plant were 0.486~13.29 Bq/kg and that of 90Sr in the tea leaves outside the range of 30 km around the nuclear power station were 1.021~17.19 Bq/kg. Conclusion During the six years of operation in Ningde Nuclear Power Plant, there was no increase in the radioactivity level of 90Sr in the tea leaves around the nuclear power plant.

RESUMEN

Pd nanoparticles (Pd NPs) were electrodeposited on the glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Then, Pd NPs/GCE was further inserted into H2 SO4 solution to polarize for 5 min to absorb a certain amount of active hydrogen. Then, the electrode was quickly inserted to HAuCl4 solution for 15 min. AuNPs were deposited spontaneously on the surface of Pd NPs due to the reduction of active hydrogen. As a result, Pd-AuNPs were modified on the surface of GCE. Next, aptamer I of thrombin was immobilized on Pd-Au nanoparticles. In the presence of thrombin, it bound with the aptamer immobilized on Pd-Au nanoparticles and thus the formed complex obstructed the catalysis of Pd-Au nanoparticles to H2 O2 . Hence, the reduction current of H2 O2 decreased with the increase of thrombin concentration. The aptamer sensor had a good linear relationship with the concentration of thrombin in the range of 2. 98-297 nmol/L with a detection limit of 0. 98 nmol/L.

RESUMEN

Reports said formaldehyde could induce the damages of organism and cause the peroxidation of lipids. Formaldehyde inhalation may significantly increase the tissue malondialdehyde concentration and decrease the activity of superoxide dismutase, catalase enzyme, glutathione peroxidase enzyme and the concentration of glutathione in the tissues with a dose-effect relationship. The possible mechanisms of oxidation lesion and the toxic effects of formaldehyde were discussed in the present paper.
