RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the expressions of β-catenin and lymphoid enhancer factor 1(LEF1) mRNA in acute leukemia(AL)and their correlation. Methods Real-time PCR was used to examine the expres-sions of β-catenin and LEF1 mRNA in 62 de novo acute myeloid leukemia(AML)patients,23 de novo acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL)patients,20 controls and 4 kinds of cell lines:K562,HL-60,THP-1 and Raji. Results The expression level of β-catenin in AML group was significantly higher compared with the control group, but LEF1 mRNA expression in AML group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The expression levels of β-catenin and LEF1 mRNA were all significantly higher in ALL group compared with the control group (P < 0.05). There were significantly positive correlations between β-catenin and LEF1 mRNA expressions both in AML and in ALL groups(P<0.05). Among the three AML cell lines,THP-1 cell had the highest β-catenin mRNA expression and the lowest LEF1 mRNA expression, and the expression tendencies of these two genes in THP-1 cell line were in accordance with those in AML patients. Conclusions Activation of Wnt/β-catenin pathway happends in AL patients and β-catenin/LEF1 may play a role in leukemogenensis of ALL.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the failure causes of bladder spasm after bladder cancer and prostate operation with epidural self-controlled analgesia pump and ifnd countermeasures. Methods From March 2010 to March 2016, 302 patients were adopted PCEA after transurethral resection of bladder tumor and prostate to prevent bladder spasm while failed in 18 cases and occurred bladder spasm. Among the 18 cases, 2 cases because of power loss of the pump, 3 cases occurred slippage of epidural catheter, 2 cases suffered catheter obstruction, 2 cases suffered joint leakage, 3 cases of deifciency of anesthetic dose formula, 2 cases of incomplete analgesia, 4 cases of chemotherapy drug stimulation. All the patients were relieved from countermeasures. Results In the 18 patients, the countermeasures were effective and satisfactory, with no serious complications such as severe hematuria, urinary tract infection and ifstula infection occurred. Conclusions PCEA prevent postoperative bladder spasm with deifnite effect. If the postoperative analgesia effect is poor, then we should analyze the reasons timely and ifnd countermeasures to avoid serious complications.

RESUMEN

@#Objective To explore the effect of Drotaverine hydrochloride on preventing bladder spasm after transurethral prostatectomy. Methods 124 patients after transurethral prostatectomy were divided into patient-controlled epidural analgesia pump group (group I, n=61) and Drotaverine hydrochloride group (group II, n=63). Group I received bupivacaine by patient-controlled epidural analgesia, and the pump was withdrawed after 72 h. Group II received Drotaverine hydrochloride by intramuscular injection, 80 mg every 12 h, and then orally taken after anal exhaust for 3 days. Bladder spasm and adverse reaction were recorded in both groups. Results There was no significant difference in bladder spasm between group I (11.48%) and group II (12.70%) (P>0.05), as well as in side reaction between group I (16.39%) and group II (17.46%) (P>0.05). Conclusion Drotaverine hydrochloride is effective on preventing bladder spasm after transurethral resection of the prostate, with small side effect.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE@#To explore the risk factors of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) of Dong nationality in Western Hunan, and to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of T2DM in the district.@*METHODS@#In the case-control study, the subjects were divided into a T2DM group, an impaired glucose regulation (IGR) group and a normal glucose tolerance (NGT) group through oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT). A questionnaire survey was conducted, and physical measurements and the detection of blood glucose, blood lipids and serum insulin were done.@*RESULTS@#Univariate analysis found significant difference in age, fasting insulin (FINS), HOMA insulin resistance index (HOMA-IRI), HOMA β-cell function index (HOMA-βC), trigalloyl glycerol (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), systolic blood pressure, and diastolic blood pressure in the glucose metabolism among different groups (P70 were 1.85, 2.83 and 2.64 respectively, P<0.05. The risk of suffering from diabetes of the overweighted or obese people was 2.13 times that of a normal BMI group, P<0.01. The other influencing factors included WHR (OR=2.06), family history of diabetes (OR=11.36), and fat and protein-rich foods (OR=1.90).@*CONCLUSION@#The main influencing factors of T2DM of Dong nationality in Western Hunan include age, BMI, WHR, family history of diabetes, fat and protein-rich foods. We must strengthen the health eduation of T2DM of Dong nationality in Western Hunan to reduce the risk of T2DM.

RESUMEN

Objective To evaluate the safety and efficacy of percutaneous sclerotherapy through pig tail drainage tube for giant hepatic and renal cysts under CT guidance. Methods Seventeen cases of giant hepatic and renal cyst were percutaneously implanted with 7 F pig tail drainage tube under CT guidance, together with daily injection of dehydrated ethanol or acetic acid. The drainage tube should be clamped after injection of sclerosing agent for cystic fluid 500 ml, immediate reopening of the drainage tube should be taken sright after the sclerotherapy. The withdrawal of drainage tube should be taken after resclerotherapy for all patients with

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE:To explore the use of antibiotics in the department of respiratory diseases and pediatric outpatient department after the introduction of initiative intervention stragety on the rational use.METHODS:A field investigation was carried out on the international RDU index of antibiotics in the department of respiratory diseases and pediatric outpatient department by self-control test.Initiative intervention on physicians' prescribing practices was carried out at four stages:befter intervention, following first intervention, second intervention, and third intervention, respectively.Data statistics was analyzed by SPSS11.0 software.RESULTS:The percentages of patients treated with antibiotics and injcetable antibiotics in the department of respiratory diseases dropped from 61.6% and 19.2% before intervention to 30.0% and 14.0% after third intervention(P
