RESUMEN

Objective@#To investigate the expression of transcription factor AT-rich interaction domain 3a (ARID3a) in peripheral blood B cells of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and its clinical significance.@*Methods@#Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were isolated from 17 SLE patients and 13 healthy controls. Then, the expression of ARID3a by B cells was determined by flow cytometry. Data was analyzed with independent sample t test. The correlations between the frequencies of ARID3a+ B cells and clinical indicators of SLE patients were assessed by Pearson cor relation analysis. The expression of ARID3a in kidney was detected by immunohistochemistry in 14 cases of lupus nephritis (LN).@*Results@#The percentages of ARID3a+ B cells in SLE patients [(51.6±3.2)%] were significantly higher than those in healthy controls [(32.6±3.4)%](t=4.0, P<0.01). There was a positive correlation between the percentages of ARID3a+ B cells in SLE patients and their 24-hour urinary protein (r=0.68, P<0.05). Furthermore, the percentages of ARID3a+ B cells in peripheral blood from patients with active LN[(62.3±4.3)%] were remarkably higher than that from patients without LN or with inactive LN [(43.3±2.8)%] (t=3.8, P<0.01). The expression of ARID3a in glomerula and tubules of LN patients markedly increased.@*Conclusion@#Elevated expression of transcription factor ARID3a in B cells may participate in the pathogenesis of LN.

RESUMEN

This article was aimed to study the effect of geniposide in hyperuricemia mice. Different doses (50, 100, 200 mg·kg-1) of geniposide were administrated to hyperuricemia mice induced by potassium oxonate by gavage for seven consecutive days. Then, serum uric acid (SUA), urinary uric acid (UUA) and the hepatic xanthine oxidase ac-tivities (XOD) of mice were detected. The results showed that the middle- and high-dose groups of geniposide re-duced the level of SUA significantly (P<0.01). It was concluded that geniposide can reduce the level of SUA in hy-peruricemia mice by promoting UUA excretion.

RESUMEN

ObjectiveTo study the clinical effect of treating acute exacerbation of chronic respiratory failure with Danhong injection.MethodsAccording to random number table,64 cases of acute exacerbation of chronic respiratory failure were divided randomly into 2 groups, with 32 cases in each group. Both groups were given correspondingly conventional symptomatic treatment(including oxygen,anti-inflammatory,antispasmodic,sputum,etc.).On this basis, the treatment group was added Danhong injection 30 ml+5%glucose infusion 250 ml,once a day, continuous therapy for 14 days.ResultsThe total effective rate was 87.50% and 65.63% in Danhong injection treatment group and conventional treatment group respectively, showing obvious difference between 2 groups (x2=4.267,P<0.05).The blood low shear viscosity (7.11 ± 1.60) mPa ? s,high shear viscosity of whole blood (3.30 ± 0.83 ) mPa ? s,plasma viscosity ( 1.28 ± 0.32) mPa ? s,whole blood reduced viscosity ( 16.81 ± 3.32 ) mPa ? s,erythrocyte aggregation index ( 1.26±0.31 ),erythrocyte deformation index (0.64±0.27) in the Danhong injection treatment group all had statistical significance compared to the conventional treatment group(P<0.05).ConclusionClinical efficacy and safety of Danhong injection in treating acute exacerbation of chronic respiratory failure were good.
