RESUMEN

The snoring in children is often benign during the nasal obstruction. However, it can be severe if it is associated to obstructive sleep apnea syndrome [OSAS]. This syndrome may be encouraged by the obesity. It can expose to the cardio-pulmonary complications in postoperative period. We report the case of a snorer and obese child having presented an acute pulmonary hypertensive crisis after turbinectomy. This complication was related to an OSAS that had not been diagnosed in preoperative. Based on this case, we stress on the importance to suspect this syndrome at obese child proposed for a nasal desobstruction surgery in order to prevent these serious complications

RESUMEN

Targeting delivery of drugs has a great developed during last years thanks to the emergence of new galenic forms. These submicronic systems are able to pilot drugs into the organism and to modulate their intracellular distribution. This article shows the evolution of these new administration systems and their application in the treatment of infectious illnesses

RESUMEN

The laryngeal cleft is a congenital malformation of the larynx of the child which is often manifested by respiratory signs. Endoscopy is the gold standard for the diagnosis of laryngeal malformations. We describe a newborn who presents an acute respiratory distress in relation with a tracheo-oesophageal fistula, duplication oesophageal and a laryngeal cleft which was diagnosed tardily. The coexistence of several congenital malformations had probably contributed to the delay and to the difficulties of the laryngeal cleft diagnosis and to the repetitive broncho-pulmonary infections for this child
