Objective The ADVIA Centaur XP automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay system detec-tion performance of the thyroid hormones and antibodies for validation and evaluation. Methods With refer-ence to the American association of clinical laboratory standardization guide and other related documents, the ADVIA Centaur XP automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay system test 7 items thyroid hormones and an-tibodies(T3,T4,FT3,FT4,TSH,anti-TG,anti-TPO)of precision, accuracy, linear range and carry pollution rate for validation. Results Within the seven thyroid hormones and antibodies batch testing precision of CV and CV between batch precision between 1.51% -6.17% and 1.86% -6.17%.Is the average accuracy of bias of the largest testing project FT3(8.47%),but in the acceptable range, good correlation, correlation coefficient R of 0.994 or higher,Average bias <1/2 CLIA′88 TEa(12.5%).T3,T4,FT3,FT4,TSH,anti-TG and anti-T PO in 1.24-5.59 nmol/L respectively, and 60.07 -195.10 nmol/L,3.40 -22.87 pmol/L,14.59 -40.54 pmol/L,1.63-74.13 μIU/mL,60.10 -381.30 μIU/mL and 180.10 -531.50 μIU/mL range is linear,Carry pollution rate is between 0.04% -0.97%.Conclusion ADVIA Centaur XP automatic chemiluminescence im-munoassay system detecting thyroid hormones and antibodies results consistent with the data provided by the manufacturer, the test results are accurate and reliable, and can be used for the detection of clinical samples.

Objective To investigate the variation patterm in activity concentration of 210Pb in atmospheric aerosol in Qindao and evaluate its internal radiation effect to human body. Methods 210Pb activity concentration of aerosol samples was measured by high purity germanium(HPGe) γ spectrometer for purpose of ascertaining its variation in aerosol in Qingdao from April 2015 to March 2016.Results 210Pb activity concentration in aerosol varied from 0.06 to 1.61 mBq/m3 and the mean of (0.70 ± 0.50) mBq/m3,slightly higher than the UNSECAR 1988 report recommended value of O.50 mBq/m3.In this study,210Pb activity concentration in aerosol was high from December 2015 to February 2016 and low from August to November.Radiation dose assessment revealed that the annual committed effective dose to adults delivered by 210Pb was 6.35 × 10-6 Sv.The monthly variation in activity concentration variation of 210Pb in atmospheric aerosol in Qingdao was similar as in Xiamen. Conclusions Activity concentration of 210Pb in atmospheric aerosols in Qingdao varied largely dependent on atmospheric environmental pollution.210Pb contributed less to the adult annual committed effective dose. However, more attention should be drawn to the long-term radiation effects to aduhs due to the 210Pb potentially deposited in lungs.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the biological and molecular biological characteristics of Klebsiella pneumoniae in burn patients in order to give the first hand information for preventing and controlling of hospital acquired infections.METHODS The identification was done by Bio-Merieux ATB expression.Antimicrobial susceptibility test was performed with K-B method. The plasmid DNA was extracted by Alkaline Lysis, and separated by electrophoresis on the gel.The ESBLs detection was based on NCCLS.RESULTS The K.pneumoniae from the burn patients and the environment were sensitive to CIP,FOX and IPM,but showed resistance to the rest 12 antibiotics. The plasmid DNA profile analysis showed 3 types, and the relative molecular mass was approximately 4.7?106,3.6?106 and 2.0?106.The molecular biological characteristics showed these pathogens were ESBLs-producing K.pneumoniae, which was different from the control bacteria. At the same time, the pathogens caused the original infection were detected, and they were accordingly Staphylococcus aureus,Streptococcus pyogenes, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.CONCLUSIONS The outbreak in burn patients is caused by ESBLs-producing K.pneumoniae, which has the same antibiotic resistance spectrum and plasmid DNA profile. This ESBLs-producing K.pneumoniae has the same origin. The pathogen might be transmitted by the case history clips and the door knobs. It was suggested that something must be done to enhance the antisepsis administration in order to prevent the hospital acquired infection.
