RESUMEN

Objective To understand the overall situation of scientific and technological influence in hospitals of Shandoug Province, analyze the problems and put forward countermeasures for further development. Methods Related data of the influence of science and technology of hospitals in Shandong Province in 2017 were obtained by network investigation.Visualization map of hospital-subject co-occurrence matrix was drawn by using NetDraw visualization tool. Results The scientific and technological influence of hospitals in Shandong Province is in the middle level of the whole country, forming a certain number of superior disciplines and subject clusters, most of which show that the input of science and technology is higher than the output of science and technology and the influence of disciplines. Conclusions The overall level of scientific and technological influence of hospitals in Shandong Province is not high, and the contribution of academic influence and scientific and technological output is not high, there are still some gaps with the construction requirements of national clinical medical resarch platform. It is suggested that the establishment of research-based hospitals should be taken as an opportunity to comprehensively implement various measures to enhance the scientific and technological influence, such as the combination of disciplines, performance evaluation and talent integration.

RESUMEN

Objective To give specific strategies for discipline construction in the "first class"universities and colleges, through the analysis of the SCI service of 20 independent medical universities in China during 2013 to 2017. Methods Based on WoS and ESI database, this paper searches and analyzes the related data of SCI papers published by the above colleges and universities, including the quantity of output, the citation of all articles, the fund support and other bibliometrics indexes, and explores the status and problems of these SCI papers. Results All colleges and universities in this study have entered the ESI database, and the ranking of ESI is basically the same as the global ranking of US News and ARWU;the Clinical Medicine and Pharmacology&Toxicology of some colleges and universities has been in or near the global 1 per thousand of ESI, and the proportion of the quoted volume and the total volume of the document is still lower than the average level in China;the H index is directly proportional to the papers, and there is still a gap with the first-class universities in China. Most papers are funded by national fund projects, but a large number of SCI articles are not highly influential. Conclusion The results show that the global ranking of independent medical universities in China has developed rapidly in the past five years. Although there is still a gap with the international first-class universities and disciplines, but there is great potential . The level of Clinical Medicine and Pharmacology & Toxicology has reached the international first-class level. The gap between the development level of biology and biochemistry, neuroscience and behavior, and the international medical level of these field is narrowing.

RESUMEN

Objective To analyze academic influence of SCI papers of TCM colleges and universities in the recent 10 years; To provide references for scientific research and academic exchange. Methods According to the evaluation ranking of degree and graduate education development center of Ministry of Education published in 2012 and standardization of InCites database, 10 Chinese medicine colleges and universities were selected. InCites platform was used to select 13 representative indicators and to analyze the cited cases, H index and the cooperation of the SCI papers published in 2006-2015. Results The SCI papers published by 10 TCM colleges and universities have been growing rapidly since 2010, and the average influence of standardized citations was 0.76. The average percentage of cited papers was 67%, which was slightly lower than that of 71%in clinical medicine papers of mainland of China. H index was 30. The average percentage of international cooperation papers in TCM colleges and universities was 17.71%, which was lower than the percentage of international cooperation papers in clinical medicine of mainland of China (22.85%). Conclusion In recent 10 years, the academic level of TCM colleges and universities in our country has been developing rapidly. However, there is still a need to further explore international perspectives, focus on research frontiers, strengthen international cooperation, carry out innovative research and improve academic influence.

RESUMEN

Objective To assess the academic influence of schistosomiasis control and research institutions in China. Meth-ods The papers (including original articles and reviews) pertaining to schistosomiasis in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE)of Web of Science(WOS)during the period from 2002 to 2012 were searched. The number of published papers,h index and citation frequencies of the papers of Chinese institutes and authors were analyzed by a bibliometric method, and the academic influences of the institutes and authors were assessed according to the number of published papers and h index. In addition, the scientific knowledge network map was plotted by using the CiteSpace II software to analyze the inter-institution academic collabora-tion network. Results From 2002 to 2012,totally 610 papers pertaining to schistosomiasis were published by Chinese scholars, accounted for 16.7%of the published papers in global, and the quantity increased year by year. The number of published papers and h index of the National Institute of Parasitic Diseases(NIPD),China Center for Disease Control and Prevention(China CDC) were 114 and 27,respectively,both of which were ranked at the first position among all the Chinese institutes, and in the academ-ic collaboration network, the NIPD played a central and dominate part. Xiao-Nong Zhou with the h index of 17 became the out-standing academic leader in the research field of schistosomiasis control. Conclusions Both number of published papers in SCIE and h index of the Chinese institutes for schistosomiasis control are far inferior to the leading institutions in the world. It suggests that when strengthening the research and control of schistosomiasis,we should pay an attention to the output and sharing of the control experience and achievements.

RESUMEN

The paper carries out statistical analysis on medical source journals of CJCR ( Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports), in order to evaluate the changing trends of academic influence of medical journals form the view of impact factor. The results show that the overall influence of medical core journals assume trend of escalation during the Tenth Five-year, but the growth rate is relatively slowed down. There arc extremely differences in influence levels of medical journals between in China and international, but the overall superiority of medical journals as well as the increasing impact could be continued.
