Since the 20th century, research team of Professor Wang Jinda in the Tianjin First Central Hospital has been using blood circulation drugs to rescue critically ill patients for 70 years. With the deepening of the understanding of sepsis, put forward the "bacteria and inflammation and governance" theory, and the use of blood circulation drugs Xuebijing injection with anti-endotoxin and inflammatory mediators effect in the treatment of sepsis, some clinical efficacy has been found. However, in recent years, the progress of treatment of sepsis at home and abroad is slow, we review a series of animal experiments since the late of 1980s, and found that small thrombosis in the microcirculation and coagulation disorders play a more important role in the development of local infection to sepsis transition. Treatment combined with Xuebijing injection is proved effective with more and more clinical practice, so the important status of blood stasis and blood circulation method in sepsis must be paid attention to again.

Lung cancer, as the highest incidence and mortality in the world, has become a majorkiller of human health. Most patients received chemotherapy to alleviate symptoms and prolong life when they are in the middle and advanced stage of lung cancer. The supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation method of traditional Chinese medicine maybe the breakthrough point for lung cancer. Thus, this paper reviewed the clincial research on the single agent, compound and Chinese patent medicine, which relected the meaning of upplementing Qi and activating blood circulation, for bone marrow suppression caused by lung cancer chemotherapy.

Objective: To observe the clinical therapeutic effects of supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation method(益气活血法) for critically ill patients.Methods: Ninety critically ill patients with(Qi-deficiency)(气虚) and blood stasis(血瘀) syndromes who diagnosed according to standard in a book named clinical diagnosis and treatment nomenclature of traditional Chinese medicine were randomly divided into the the treatment group(n=60) and the control group(n=30).The general therapy of the two groups was the same.Additionlly,the treatment group was administered Shenmai injection(丹参注射液) and Danshen power(丹参粉针剂),15 days were as one therapeutic course.Results: In the treatment group,the total effective rate of clinical therapeutic effects was 85.00 %;before and after treatment,traditional Chinese medical scores was 38.63?9.08 vs.24.27?7.43,acute physiology and chronic health evaluationⅡ(APACHEⅡ) 18.11?4.54 vs.12.47?1.64,platelet(PLT) count(198.00?54.16)?10~9/L vs.(174.00?40.82)?10~9/L,(haematocrit)(HCT) 0.340?0.049 vs.0.440?0.057,mean cell hemoglobin(MCH)(34.00?3.10)pg(vs.(31.00?1.83) pg).The differences of above parameters were significant between the two groups,and they were superior in the treatment group to those in the control group(all P

In view of Inner Canon of Huangdi,deficiency of heart-QI and blockage of blood circulation is one of basic physical features in senile people.The senile diabetics have more risks in developing into pathogenesis character of deficiency of qi and blood stasis.In Clinic,it could be found by macroscopic syndrome and microcosmic examination.So we prefer that benefiting Qi for activating blood circulation method could be used to amelioration heart systole and diastolic function in elderly diabetes patients to improve their life qualities.
