RESUMEN

Objective To explore the clinical significance in combined detection of C-reactive protein and the cervical secretion smear in chorioamnionitis with preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM).Methods Eighty patients with PPROM (PPROM group) were selected and divided into chorioamnionitis group (n =55) and without chorioamnionitis(n =25) according to the diagnosis. The levels of C-reactive protein and cervical smear were analysis, including sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value.Sixty cases of preterm no premature rupture of membranes pregnant women with the same gestational age were chosed as the control group. Results The positive rate of CRP and cervical secretions smear in PPROM group were higher than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant (x2 =50.24,54.81 ;P < 0.05).The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value by the CRP diagnosis of chorioamnionitis in patients with PPROM were 58.18%,63.64%,36.00%,32.00% respectively. Those indices of cervical secretions smear diagnosis were 66.67%,67.31%,29.03%,28.57% respectively. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value regarding of CRP and cervical secretions smear joint inspection diagnosis of chorioamnionitis were 69.09%,88.00%,92.68%,56.41% respectively. Conclusion The inspection of CRP combined with cervical secretion smear can improve specificity and positive predictive value of chorioamnionitis diagnosis with PPROM pregnant women.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE To study infection status and drug resistance of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and Mycoplasma hominis(Mh) in the female genital tract.METHODS The retrospective analysis of identification and the antimicrobial susceptibility testing of mycoplasma in 2263 female cervical secretions from Jan 2007 to Jun 2008 were conducted.RESULTS In 2263 cases, the positive rate of mycoplasma was 66.46%.The infection only by Uu accounted for 45.03%,by Mh for 1.46%,and the mixed infection for 19.97%.The results of drug sensibility test showed that drug resistances of mycoplasma were diffirent among three types of mycoplasma infections.CONCLUSIONS The infectious rate of mycoplasma from female cervical secretions is on big rise.It is important to culture and test the drug sensitivities of mycoplasma for choosing drugs rationally and control the resistant strains.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE:To study female mycoplasma infection and the drug sensitivity test of mycoplasma. METHODS:Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu)and mycoplasma hominis(Mh)of cervical secretions sampled from 5 177 female genital infection cases in our hospital were identified by cultivation, and resistance to antibiotics for them was also detected. RESULTS:Of 5 177 infection cases, mycoplasms were cultured from 2 816 specimens with total positive rate of 54.39%. Among them, there were 2 457 cases of Uu infection(47.46%),51 cases of Mh infection(0.99%)and 308 cases of mixed infection(5.95%). The highest susceptibilities of 2 816 strains of mycoplasma to antibiotic were azithromycin, josamycine and klinomycin. The highest drug resistance rates of mycoplasma were cillimycin. CONCLUSION:Rational use of drugs based on drug sensitivity test is of importance to prevent the production of drug-resistence mycoplasma.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE:To study the mycoplasma infection and the drug susceptibility of mycoplasma in cervical secretions from female genital tract in our hospital.METHODS:Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu)and mycoplasma hominis(Mh)in cervical secretions sampled from 3 416 female genital tract inflammation cases in our hospital were identified by cultivation, and the antibiotic resistance was also detected.RESULTS:The total positive rate of mycoplasma was 43.7%;Uu infection accounted for 40.0%,which was sensitive to Cycloate erythromycin,Minocycline,Deoxycycline,Josamycin;Mh infection accounted for 0.7%,which was sensitive to Deoxycycline,Minocycline and Josamycin;Uu+Mh infection accounted for 3.0%,which was sensitive to Deoxycycline,Josamycin and Minocycline.CONCLUSION:Rational use of drugs based on drug susceptibility test is of importance to prevent the production of persister of mycoplasma.
