RESUMEN

Objective To set up traumatic brain injury(TBI)in rats by the improved device of FEENEY ’s weight dropping model and to ex?plore the spirit behavioral changes of mental disorders caused by TBI. Methods SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group(normal group,n=10),traumatic brain injury group(TBI group,n=10)and sham group(n=10). The improved device of FEENEY’s method was ad?opted to establish rat TBI model. For the following 15 days after TBI,open?field(OF)and forced swimming(FS)tests were carried out and the be?havior of the TBI rats within 5 minutes were recorded, the behavioral indexes, such as distance moved total(DMT),velocity mean(VM)and immo?bility time total(ITT),were analyzed. With above experiments, rats' fear response to environment, high alertness and anxiety and depression be?havior were evaluated. Results DMT and VM of TBI group rats(1 228.10±204.97 cm,4.09±0.68 cm/s)were significantly lower than those of the normal group(2 022.32±280.92 cm,7.28±1.80 cm/s)or sham group(1 660.01±332.09 cm,5.53±1.10 cm/s)(P<0.05).The ITT of TBI group (149.88±27.36 s,P<0.05)was longer than that of the normal group(106.10±29.03 s)or sham group(120.55±22.31 s)significantly(P<0.05). Conclusion TBI leads to rats' abnormal emotional and behavioral response.

RESUMEN

Objective To observe the antidepressant effect of the volatile oil of Myristica in mice and investigate its mechanism. Methods Healthy male Kunming mice were divided into control group, fluoxetine hydrochloride group, high, medium and low dose group, and all of the mice were gavaged for 7 days. The role of antidepressant on the mice were observed with tail suspension tests and forced swimming tests. Then serotonin(5-HT),dopamine(DA) and norepinephrine (NE) in the brain of the mice were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results Compared with the control group((82.60 ± 24.70)s),the medium dose group could shorten the immobility time of the tail suspension tests ((54.40± 15.87) s),and showed statistical significance (P< 0.05).The content of 5-HT,DA,NE in the brain of the medium group were (19.35±2.79) ng/ml,(12.16±0.71)pg/ml,(0.27±0.12) ng/ml,and control group were (14.95±4.83) ng/ml,(11.32±0.95) pg/ml,(0.20±0.11) ng/ml.Compared with the control group, the content of 5-HT of the medium dose group was increased and showed statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The volatile oil of Myristica fragrans Houtt has antidepressant effect, and may be related to raising the content of 5-HT,DA,NE in the brain of the mice, especially 5-HT.

RESUMEN

Objective To explore the effect of different frequencies interference of electoracupuncture on acute stress of C57BL/6 mice. Methods Thirty male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into model group,2Hz electroacupunture group and 100 Hz electroacupunture group. After interfering 7 days by electroacupuncture, all the mice were carried forced swimming tests and tail suspension test, and the immobility time in 5 minutes were taken down. Results The immobility time of forced swimming test and tail suspension test of 2 Hz eletroacupuncture group(32.00±14.73)s,(72.50±20.44)s was shorter than those of 100 Hz electoracupuncture group(145.60±34.62)s,(124.22±21.67)s( P <0.05); and the immobility time of 2 Hz eletroacupuncture group was shorter than that of model group(129.50±33.94)s,(142.23±20.05)s( P <0.05); but the immobility time of 100 Hz electroacupuncture group was no difference with that of model group( P >0.05). Conclusions The effect of 2 Hz eletroacupuncture could improve the behaviors of the acute stress of C57BL/6 mice and had the more effectiveness on anti-depression.
