RESUMEN
RESUMEN Introducción: el método de aprendizaje basado en casos clínicos es utilizado en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la formación médica preferentemente durante el ciclo clínico Objetivo: determinar la actitud de los alumnos cursantes de Clínica Médica con el método de aprendizaje basado en casos clínicos. Metodología: observacional, descriptivo, retrospectivo, no probabilístico, con componente analítico. Se utilizó un cuestionario auto administrado, tipo Likert. Resultados: cursaron la materia 138 alumnos entre los años 2013 al 2016, de los cuales fueron incluidos en el estudio 130, siendo del sexo femenino el 59,23%, la edad media fue 23,96 años (rango 22-29 años), el 63,8% proceden de Coronel Oviedo. La actitud de los alumnos fue positiva; pero con dificultades en alto porcentaje, opinando que el método ayuda a consolidar conocimientos. Conclusión: la actitud manifestada por los participantes del estudio describe la utilidad del método de aprendizaje basado en casos clínicos.
ABSTRACT Introduction: The method of clinical case based-learning is used in the teaching-learning process in medical training preferably during the clinical cycle Objective: To determine the attitude of students attending Medical Clinic towards the method of clinical cases based-learning. Methodology: Observational, descriptive, retrospective, non-probabilistic, study with analytical component. A self-administered Likert-type questionnaire was used. Results: One hundred and thirty eight subjects studied between 2013 and 2016, of which 130 were included in the study, 59.23% being female, the mean age was 23.96 years (range 22-29 years), and 63.8% came from Coronel Oviedo. The attitude of the students was positive but with difficulties in high percentage, thinking that the method helps to consolidate knowledge. Conclusion: The attitude expressed by the study participants describes the usefulness of method of clinical case based-learning.
