RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the transient hemodynamic changes during balloon deflation in coronary interventional operation, so as to explore the potential influence of balloon deflation on the occurrence of post-operative no-reflow. Methods An in vitro experimental apparatus was built, in which a high-speed camera was used to take snapshots of balloon deformation and flow field (marked by dyed water) during balloon deflation. Subsequently, image processing techniques were employed to derive the parameters of balloon deformation and estimate the flow velocity downstream from the balloon. A computer model of the experimental apparatus was constructed, with the incorporation of the measured balloon deformation data, to simulate the balloon deflation process under various perfusion pressure and fluid conditions. Results The balloon exhibited a highly nonlinear deformation behavior during deflation. The measured and simulated flow velocities downstream from the balloon were in reasonable agreement, both manifesting a monotonic increase with post-deflation time and perfusion pressure. Numerical simulations further revealed that when the flow velocity downstream from the balloon approached the physiological value of blood flow velocity in the coronary artery, the flow velocity in the balloon-vessel gap and wall shear stress (WSS) reached up to 8-10 times and 60-70 times of their physiological values, respectively. Conclusions Balloon deflation led to a sharp acceleration of flow in balloon-vessel gap and a concomitant abnormal rise in WSS, which might promote the stripping of plaque or thrombus flakes. In view of the fact that the balloon deflation-induced rise in WSS was augmented by the increase in perfusion pressure, taking strategies such as lowering pre-operative blood pressure or implementing balloon deflation during diastole in coronary interventional operation might help to reduce the risk of no-reflow.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the changes of clinical symptoms and liver or lung functions after inferior vena cava stent implantation in Budd Chiari syndrome patients. Methods 35 cases of Budd Chiari syndrome patients were enrolled and retrospective analysized, such as ascites, edema of lower limbs, abdomen wall of varicose veins and serum total bilirubin, serum albumin, prothrombin time, FVC, MVV, PEF, FEV1.0, FEV1.0/FVC and other pulmonary functional changes were analyzed before and 1 months after inferior vena cava stent implantation. Results Ascites, edema of lower limbs, abdominal varicose veins and other clinical symptoms were significantly reduced or disappeared, the total serum bilirubin significantly decreased, serum albumin significantly increased, and prothrombin time significantly reduced 1 month after surgery in patients with Budd Chiari syndrome, (t = 1.95, 2.31, 2.07, P < 0.01). FVC, MVV, PEF, FEV1, the indexes of FEV1/FVC improved obviously after surgery (t = 1.83, 2.69, 1.47, 1.69, 1, 97, P = 0.041, 0.029,0.046, 0.043, 0.043, 0.038). Conclusion Inferior vena cava stent implantation could effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with Budd Chiari syndrome.

RESUMEN

Virtual technology of cardiovascular interventional surgery can be used for surgical training, surgical navigation, surgical optimization and postoperative evaluation in cardiovascular interventional procedures. In this paper, the composition of virtual cardiovascular interventional operation system was introduced, and the research status of virtual cardiovascular interventional operation both at home and abroad was discussed, including detailed analysis on working principles of several representative products. Through the intensive study on force feedback used as the key techniques in virtual cardiovascular interventional surgery, the author investigated its future development as well as how to improve the training effect and success rate of cardiovascular interventional operation.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigar evaluate the value of anti-radiation with X-ray protective equipment for radiological interven-tion operation personnel. Methods Surveyed 60 cases of these operation staff during interventional operation in our hospital from October,2011 to October,2012,divided into the research group and the control group according to the physician protective habits, the research group was comprehensive protection with protective equipment including lead underwear, lead glass shield, lead cloth-ing,lead collar, lead the mask glasses radiation dose, the control group was partial protection with only employ lead clothes, lead col-lar,two groups were similar interventional operation on the same X-ray vessel machine, analysed the radiation dose of inside and outside the protective clothing changes and the blood picture for 2 groups personnel. Results The study group received radiation dose was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion The anti-radi-ation effect of X-ray protection equipment is remarkable for intervention operation personnel, should advocate the comprehensive personal radiation protection in the intervention operation period for the relative professionals persons.

RESUMEN

Objective To observe the clinical effect of treating adenomyosis uterine artery embolization (UAE)after interventional therapy for adenomyosis with Huayuxiaojie decoction. Methods A total of 40 patients with adenomyosis were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group. 20 patients in the control group were not given any medical treatment after interventional operation; while 20 patients in the treatment group were given the decoction of Huayuxiaojie after intervention. Changes of menstrual blood volume, menalgia degree, CA125 and uterine volume of all patients were investigated after the treatment. Results Patients in the treatment group showed significantly better results than the control group in the improvement of menstrual blood volume, dysmenorrhea, CA 125, and uterine volume (P<0.05) .Conclusion Huayuxiaojie decoction was effective in relieving menalgia, adjusting menorrhagia, soothing bellyache, reducing fever of syndromes after interventional operation of adenomyosis.

RESUMEN

Objective:To study prevention methods against scattering radiation during interventional operation. Methods:Exposed parts of the doctor to the radiation during the interventional operation were simulated by water phantom.Scattering radiation of interested points before and after taking prevention methods was measured using INOVISION 451P.Scattering radiation of six directions on the same level at the points 45 cm and 90 cm away from water phantom was measured respectively, and the dif-ferences of scattering radiation with distance change were analyzed. Results:Prevention instruments decreased 61.1%~99.3% of scattering radiation(P

RESUMEN

Magnetic Navigation assisted cardiovascular intervention is the most advanced and innovative technique in the world.Under the guidance of magnet and pushed by a motor-driver,the catheter could reach the target automatically within the shortest time.Magnetic navigation system could help the cardiologists to decrease the operation time with a higher successful rate, and be exempt from the X-ray radiation using computerized remote-control technique. The paper has introduced the principle, advantage and clinical application of magnetic navigation system in detail.
