Study on quality and safety management standard of lifesaving access to emergency care / 中华医院管理杂志

A review of management problems found in lifesaving access to emergency care in healthcare organizations at all levels in China, and a reference international critical and emergency care systems and their quality and safety management standards were made by the authors. Based on such and special needs of such access, the paper studied the domestic lifesaving access to emergency care service workflow, and abstracted common management issues on the lifesaving access to emergency care. The study identified key elements of lifesaving access to emergency care management through case analysis, and formulated standard terms for such key elements. Hence a set of standards is developed for quality management fitting healthcare organizations at all levels in China′s lifesaving access to emergency care, serving as the guidance for their standardized management and evaluation.

Research of quality and safety management standards on ambulatory surgery service / 中华医院管理杂志

This paper identified outstanding problems, key points and elements in domestic ambulatory surgery operation and management, regarding quality and safety management of ambulatory surgery services, by means of comparing international ambulatory surgery management models and management standards. In view of actual needs of ambulatory surgery management at China′s hospitals, and overseas ambulatory surgical management standards, the authors attempted to build the standard of quality and safety management of ambulatory surgery, for reference of China′s hospitals in their surgery management and appraisal.

Overview on standardization of medical quality and safety management at home and abroad / 中华医院管理杂志

Based on a systematic literature review on medical quality and safety management at home and abroad, the authors presented such international standards as ISO, JCI, KTQ, NICE and ACHS, as well as China′s national and industrial standards for hospital grading appraisal and medical management, and introduced China′s standardization development. These efforts aim at referencing on domestic and international experiences for standard development by hospital quality and safety management entities.

Analysis and countermeasures on irregular usage of drug prescription in outpatient section and emergency room / 药学实践杂志

Objective To provide suggestion and reference for standardizing irregular usage of drug prescription in hospi‐tal .Methods Prescriptions of outpatient section and emergency room in Heshan People′s Hospital were extracted from January to June 2013 .The behavior of irregular usage drug prescription was statistically analyzed according to the content of drug in‐structions .Results 63 irregular usage of drug prescriptions were found ,involving off‐indication use ,overdose ,change in med‐ication method and route of administration ,and usage beyond the scope of intended patient population .Conclusion irregular usage of drug prescription is common in outpatient section and emergency room ,w hich putting patient medication at risk .We recommend that medication management standards should be developed as soon as possible by the relevant departments to en‐sure patient′s safety .

The instance reality of medial equipment combined with the center problem of standardization management on medical equipment stock to discuss the questions of how to manage and what about manage.According to correlated management demand and the fact of medical procurement,from the point of view on frame construction flow to the problem of elementary demand on medical equipment procurement,the stock process of medical instrument,the stock process of medical consumable and the management of purchase invoice etc were analyzed.The beneficial research reference can be provided by the daily management jobs of stock and maintenance,the management question of more refinement and general standardization.
