RESUMEN

Objective To summarize analysis in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with cerebral microvascular lesion with diabetes pill in combination with metformin on patients after treatment the blood viscosity, the effects of cognitive dysfunction. Methods Our hospital during the period of July 2014 to September 2016 received 100 cases of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with cerebral microvascular lesions, according to the random allocation method divided into observation group(50 cases) and control group(50 cases) and control group using metformin treatment, the observation group USES the diabetes pill metformin treatment, treatment effect of two groups of patients and related indicators for comparative analysis. Results After treatment the cognitive function score and blood viscosity related indicators, statistically significant differences between observation group and control group. Conclusion Elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with cerebral microvascular lesions in clinical application in diabetes, pill metformin, help to improve the patient's cognitive dysfunction, improve the patient's blood viscosity, promote the prognosis of patients, is worthy of popularization and application.

RESUMEN

The specific features of diabetic microangiopathy include thickening of basement membrane with deposition of a transparent material.Diabetic retinopathy, neuropathy, cardiomyopathy,as well as diabetic foot are the main complications. It remains controversial whether intensive treatment may reduce the clinical renal end point events significantly, while evidence-based medicine confirmed that intensive treatment can reduce the trace and heavy proteinuria, neuropathy, and retinopathy. It will benefit the patients if comprehensive, and standard and, persistent treatments, are started as early as possible, and it consider the features of elderly patients.Managing Older People with Type 2 Diabetes Global Guidelines (IDF) and Chinese Elderly Diabetes Expert Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment Measures point out that microvascular complications in elderly patients with diabetes closely related to the quality of life,to which we should pay great attention.Early prevention, early diagnosis, early treatment, reach the standard in early stage will be of important clinical significance for the prevention and treatment of senile diabetic microvascular lesion.

RESUMEN

Objective To explore the correlation between high ankle brachial index (ABI) and microvascular complications in patients with diabetes. Methods A total of 1360 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were selected from March 2009 to March 2012.ABI test was performed in all the patients. The patients were divided into ABI < 0.7 group,ABI 0.7-0.9 group,0.9 < ABI ≤ 1.3 group and ABI > 1.3group according to the ABI level. The correlation between ABI and microvascular complications in patients of type 2 diabetes mellitus was analyzed by single factor analysis and Logistic regression analysis. Results A total of 1260 patients were in 0.9 <ABI ≤1.3 group,20 patients in ABI <0.7 group,60 patients in ABI 0.7-0.9 group, and 20 patients in ABI > 1.3 group.Logistic regression analysis showed that related factors of the high ABI level were smoking and systolic blood pressure (P < 0.05).The high ABI level showed no correlation with microvascular complications such as diabetic nephropathy, diabetic perineuropathy and diabetic retinopathy. Conclusion In patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and without diabetic macroangiopathy, the high ABI level does not increase the risk of atherosclerosis and the incidence of microvascular complications.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: The various types of varix which has a dilated, tortous, elongated blood vessel arising from the microcirculation of the vocal folds may cause different types of dysphonia. There have not been many specific studies on the characteristics of microvascular lesions of the vocal folds, so authors tried to evaluate the shapes, traveling pathway, and predilection site of the microvascular lesions. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A retrospective review of 119 patients with dysphonia was undertaken. All findings of videotapes were evaluated according to the shapes, the traveling pathway, the predilection sites and accompanying disorders of the microvascular lesions. RESULTS: The most common shapes of the microvascular lesions were the abrupt developed type and the multiple dilated type. The longitudinal type was the most common traveling type. The superolateral surface of the vocal folds was the predilection site of the microvascular lesions. Functional voice disorders, such as laryngeal nodule, laryngeal polyp, laryngeal edema, were more common as accompanying disorders. CONCLUSION: Authors found that there were a variety of types of microvascular lesions.
