In this paper, based on the supramolecular "Qi chromatography" of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), combined with the characteristics of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the historical origin and characteristics of theoretical research on the treatment of epidemic diseases by TCM were analyzed retrospectively, and the key scientific problems for achieving its modernization were proposed, and the countermeasures were illustrated. In fact, the emergence and development history of TCM epidemic theory is a comprehensive and scientific understanding of biomolecular chemistry for epidemic caused by pathogen. From the exploration of the cause of abnormal Qi to the epidemic pathogenic factor, from the treatment based on syndrome differentiation by six meridians to by the defensive Qi and nutrient blood and the triple energizer, which is gradually close to the modern theoretical system of infectious diseases and immunology, all of which are stamped with brand of TCM supramolecular "Qi chromatography" theory. In the long history of biological evolution in nature, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) as epidemic pathogenic factor in TCM, human body and Chinese materia medica are biological supramolecules at a specific stage of evolution in nature, which are controlled by the "imprinting templates" of molecular society in gradual biomolecules, with the unchanged laws of mutual advancement, mutation, suitability and mutual restriction. Based on the analysis of the law of supramolecular action hiding in the prevention and treatment of epidemic diseases dealt with TCM on procession of principle-method-recipe-medicines, this paper discusses the key scientific problems of its modernization and puts forward the solutions. It can not only clarify the scientific principle of the prevention and treatment with TCM, develop the multi-component Chinese medicine, accelerate the control of the epidemic situation, but also promote the solution of original frontier key scientific problems such as the material basis of meridians, viscera and syndromes, and the compatibility law of the TCM prescription, in order to protect the existing medical resources and open up a new situation in the modernization of TCM research.

With human placed in the whole nature, by following the biologic evolution path, the property of channel structure for "imprinting template" in meridian andwas explored with supramolecular chemistry. In the history of biologic evolution, each molecule in "molecule society" gradually developed into various highly-ordered supramolecular bodies based on self-identification, self-assembly, self-organization, self-replicating of"imprinting template", and thereby the original biochemical system was established, and finally evolved into human. In the forming process of supramolecular bodies, the channel structure of"imprinting template" in guest supramolecular bodies would be kept by host supramolecular bodies, and communicate with the outside to exchange materials, energy, information, otherwise life phenomenon could not continue, for which it was the chemical nature of biolo-gical supramolecular bodies for body to develop meridian. Therefore, the human was a gigantic and complicated supramolecules body in biological nature, and possessed the supramolecules "imprinting template" at each stage of evolution, for which the meridians were formed. When meridians converged, acupoints appeared; when acupointsconverged,appeared. With the promotion of the blood from heart, according to"imprinting template", the guest supramolecular bodies and host meridian produced-analysis, which was the-phenomenon of guest in meridian. The perspective of oreintalism can help to accurately analyze the origin of TCM acceptance in the western countries. This acceptance follows the cognitive model of orientalism. The change of orentalism discourse system directly affects the TCM communication to the West in the modern times. To conclude this period of history will provide some useful inspiration to the further TCM communication to the West.

This article is trying to find out the historical and realistic reasons of the restriction of the process of modernization of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from the history of TCM theory and practice of TCM institutional setup and related policies and many other aspects.Then it points out that the TCM in the background of the development of science and technology today is already has the necessary conditions of modernization,but the process can not be succeed overnight,it ought to be a systematic engineering.

During the Qin-Han Dynasty,the system of terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) has been initially established.With the progress of TCM subject and increasing of academic exchanges,one word having two or more meanings,one meaning with two or more words,and development of meanings of words have come into sight,following with the appearance of new concepts and terms.TCM terms have their distinction.The characteristics of TCM terms were: characteristic of history; ②characteristic of culture;qualitative description;using concrete word to describe the abstract concept.During the new century,TCM needs modernization.Clear concept and standard terms are important for modernization of TCM.Meanwhile,there was confusion on translation of terms on the internationalization of TCM.Standard terms were precondition of the academic exchange and popularizing TCM.In a word,the standardization of terms of TCM became one of the keys for the modernization and internationalization of TCM.

The subject of modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) has been argued in China for many years.Many good ideas have been suggested by experts and scholars.In this paper,one issue in the modernization of TCM is discussed.The issue is how to introduce some mathematical methods into traditional Chinese medicine.This is a valuable subject to study,because by this way,the computers can be used to analyze the composing methods of TCM prescriptions and to help TCM doctors to select better treating means.A new mathematical method for analyzing the composing methods of TCM prescriptions has been developed,and the methods are still based on TCM theory.By these methods,the TCM prescriptions can be computed or analyzed in digital formations,but the integral conception about human body in TCM is still left intact.In this paper,using the new method,several TCM prescriptions were analyzed,and the analyzed results demonstrate that the methods are efficient and give a good help to understand the composing methods of TCM prescriptions.

According to the multi-information characteristic of pulse tracings in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and the dynamic analysis and identification technique of sonogram,the multi-information detection system of pulse examination was constructed by combining B-type ultrasound and flexible transducer.It made information integration of supersonic dynamic image,pressure pulse wave,photoelectric capacity pulse wave and electrocardiogram,and though the aggregate analysis of computer information processing technique,established the pulse tracings signature analysis method,formed optimized solving scheme for describing the four attributes("location,velocity,shape and potential") of pulse examination in TCM.From the multi-information data of healthy people's pulse tracings collected by this system,it can be infer that the new method of objectification of pulse examination referred in this article is feasible,and have gain the prospective effect.It provides a new method and characteristic data for the clinical study of objectification of pulse examination and teaching of TCM.
