Abordagem da temática étnico-racial na formação das/os profissionais residentes do hospital regional dom moura, Garanhuns ­ PE / Approach to the ethnic-racial theme in the training of the resident professionals of the dom moura regional hospital, Garanhuns - PE

A existência de populações tradicionais no território brasileiro induziram a adequação da Constituição Brasileira e variados dispositivos legais como o Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) para o atendimento as suas especificidades. É necessário que a formação dos estudantes e os profissionais de saúde tenham aproximação com as temáticas étnico-raciais minimizando as barreiras culturais do cuidado aos usuários, em especial da população indígena e quilombola. O objetivo geral do projeto de intervenção (PI) é fomentar a inserção Abordagem da temática das relações étnico-raciais e atenção à saúde das populações tradicionais junto aos profissionais residentes do Hospital Regional Dom Moura (HRDM). Os objetivos específicos são: realizar articulação com as lideranças da etnia Funi-ô e da comunidade de Castainho e apresentação do PI; fazer oficina sobre a temática étnico-racial com os profissionais residentes; realizar oficina sobre a temática étnico-racial com os profissionais residentes; promover vivência de campo nos territórios indígenas e quilombolas; e elaborar material didático orientador para os profissionais residentes dos anos subsequentes. The existence of traditional populations in Brazilian territory led to the adaptation of the Brazilian Constitution and various legal provisions such as the Unified Health System (SUS) to meet their specific needs. It is necessary for the training of students and health professionals to approach ethnic-racial issues by minimizing cultural barriers to care for users, especially the indigenous and quilombola population. The general objective of the intervention project is to foster the insertion of the issue of ethnic-racial relations and attention to the health of the traditional populations with the resident professionals of the Dom Moura Regional Hospital (HRDM). The specific objectives are: to articulate with the leaders of the Funi-ô ethnic group and of the community of Castainho and presentation of the IP; workshop on ethnic-racial issues with resident professionals; conduct workshop on ethnic-racial issues with resident professionals; promote field experience in indigenous and quilombola territories; and to develop didactic material for the resident professionals of subsequent years.(AU)

Modernidade e comunidades tradicionais: memória, identidade e transmissão em território quilombola / Modernidad y comunidades tradicionales: memoria, identidad y transmisión en territorio quilombola / Modernity and traditional communities: memory, identity and transmission in maroon territory

Tendo como foco o lugar de encontro entre populações tradicionais e as forças culturais modernizantes, o objetivo geral do estudo foi o de circunscrever, entre a população de quilombolas ainda residente na chamada região do Sapê, ao norte do Espírito Santo, as formas representacionais mnêmicas tradicionalmente relacionadas ao grupo; identificar seu papel na articulação e conformação dos novos conteúdos trazidos pela modernidade; investigar o arranjo que possibilita formular a identidade neste meio e relacionar as representações deste passado compartilhado às mudanças ambientais e sociais que recentemente impactaram a sua região. Ao todo 21 participantes, homens e mulheres de três gerações e ainda residentes nas comunidades compuseram o estudo. Para coleta dos dados foi utilizado um roteiro semi-estruturado de entrevista e os resultados obtidos, interpretados segundo os pressupostos da Análise de Conteúdo.

Looking for the encounter between traditional populations and the modern cultural strengths, the general objective of the study was of circumscribing, between the population of quilombolas, still resident in the called Região do Sapê, north of the state of Espírito Santo, the reminiscences traditionally related with the group; to identify his paper in the articulation and resignation of the new contents brought by the modernity; to investigate the arrangement what it makes possible to formulate the identity in this environment and connect this representations of this past shared to the environmental and social changes that recently shocked this region. Altogether 21 participants, men and women of three generations and still residents in the communities composed the study. For collection of the data a semi-structured itinerary of interview was used and the obtained results interpreted accordingly to the presuppositions of Analysis of content.

En se concentrant sur le lieu de rencontre entre les populations traditionnelles et la modernisation des forces culturelles, l'objectif général de cette étude était limitée de la population des Quilombolas résident encore sur la région appel Sape, au nord du Saint- Esprit, les formes de représentation mnémonique traditionnellement liées au groupe, d'identifier leur rôle dans la formulation et de mise en forme du nouveau contenu apporté par la modernité, et d'enquêter sur l'arrangement qui permet à l'identité formuler dans ce milieu et les déclarations se rapportent à ce problème commun passé changements environnementaux et sociaux qui ont récemment touché la région. Au total, 21 participants, hommes et femmes de trois générations et qui vivent encore dans les communautés. Pour recueillir les données nous avons utilisé un des entretiens semi-structurés et les résultats ont été interprétés selon les hypothèses de l'analyse du contenu.

Memórias sociais de juventude entre quilombolas do norte do Espírito Santo / Youth social memories among quilombolas from the north of Espírito Santo

Buscando um conjunto etário que tivesse vivido sua juventude entre as populações remanescentes de quilombos do norte do Estado do Espírito Santo e ainda na presença da Mata Atlântica, esta pesquisa teve como objetivo principal identificar as memórias sociais de juventude nessas comunidades, relacionando as representações desse passado compartilhado às mudanças ambientais e sociais que recentemente impactaram a sua região. Foram entrevistadas 11 pessoas, homens e mulheres, com idade entre 40 e 61 anos. Os dados, trabalhados através da técnica de análise de conteúdo, demonstraram um hiato na relação dos participantes com as gerações mais novas que não havia sido experimentado com relação aos seus ascendentes; bem como as implicações dessa transformação socioambiental que, ao atuar em estruturas arcaicas de constituição territorial e temporal das comunidades, funcionou como agente primordial tanto do distanciamento entre as gerações quanto da seleção das formas mnêmicas mais relevantes.

Searching for an age group who lived their youth among populations remnant of former runaway slave communities in the northern Espírito Santo State (Brazil) and also at the Atlantic Rainforest, this research had the main objective of identifying the social memories of younger days in these communities, relating the representations of this past and the environmental and social changes that recently impacted their region. Eleven men and women were interviewed, with ages varying from 40 to 61 years. The data, processed by content analysis technique, demonstrated a hiatus at the relation of the participants with younger generations which had not been experienced with respect to their ascendants; as well as the implications of this social-environmental transformation that, while acting on the communities archaic structures of territorial and temporal constitution, worked as a prime agent both in the distancing between generations, and on the selection of the more relevant mnemic shapes.

Zooterapia popular na Chapada Diamantina: uma medicina incidental? / Folk medicine using animals in the Chapada Diamantina: incidental medicine?

Este trabalho analisa o sistema zooterápico tradicional de uma população afrodescendente na Chapada Diamantina, Bahia. A pesquisa foi conduzida ao longo de oito meses de trabalho nos quais foram realizadas entrevistas livres e semi-estruturadas, registro fotográfico e identificação de espécies. Busca-se, além da apresentação de uma lista de produtos oriundos de animais e seus respectivos usos, iniciar uma discussão sobre as possíveis razões para crença no potencial terapêutico ou profilático das frações e produtos animais amplamente utilizados na medicina tradicional de populações brasileiras.

This study examines the traditional therapeutic use of animals or parts of animals by an Afro Brazilian population living in the Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, Brazil. The investigation was conducted over a period of eight months and consisted of open- and semi-structured interviews, photographic documentation and identification of species. Besides presenting a list of animal products and their respective use, we seek to stimulate a discussion about the possible existence of a rational basis for the belief in the therapeutic or prophylactic potential of the animal products used in the traditional medicine of Brazilian populations.
