RESUMEN

A liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)method was developed for determination of three kinds of β-agonists(Clenbuterol(CL),Ractopamine(RAC)and Salbutamol(SAL))residues in animal liver samples. The liver sample homogenates were extracted with organic solvent, followed by clean-up using the automatic magnetic solid-phase extraction(MSPE),and then analyzed using LC-MS/MS.The results showed that the magnetic mixed-mode cation exchange adsorbent(M-MCX)exhibited 34%higher adsorption capacity than the conventional mixed-mode cation exchange(MCX)column.Furthermore, the clean-up was conducted by using an automatic MSPE device, and 8 samples could be simultaneously treated within 30 min.The limits of detection(LOD)were 0.01-0.1 μg/kg,the average recoveries ranged from 88.2%to 110.5%,and the relative standard deviations(RSDs)were in range of 2.9%-10.3%at three spiked levels for the three kinds of β-agonists.Compared with the traditional SPE technique, the present method had many advantages such as simple operation, rapidity and high efficiency, which was suitable for high-throughput and automatic detection of residues in routine analysis.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND:Pretreatment with moxibustion is a preventive treatment in traditional Chinese medicine.Pretreatment with moxibustion at the onset of prodromal symptoms can significantly reduce the symptoms and delay the onset of many diseases, but the exact mechanism remains to be studied. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the mechanism of SIRT1/FoxO3 pathway in moxibustion pretreatment to ameliorate oxidative stress injury in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion model rats. METHODS:Forty-eight Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham-operated group, model group, moxibustion pretreatment group, and moxibustion pretreatment+EX527(SIRT1 inhibitor)group, with 12 rats in each group. The moxibustion pretreatment group was given moxibustion with seed-sized moxa cone at Baihui,Dazhui, and Zusanli before modeling, three moxa-cones per acupoint, once a day for 7 days.In the model group, moxibustion pretreatment group and moxibustion pretreatment+EX527 group, the rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion was made by suturing of the middle cerebral artery 30 minutes after the last moxibustion. After 2 hours of cerebral ischemia, the middle artery suture was removed and the rats were reperfused for 12 hours. In the sham-operated group, only the common carotid artery, internal carotid artery, and external carotid artery were dissected without suturing the middle cerebral artery. In the moxibustion pretreatment+EX527 group,EX527(15 mg/kg)was given intraperitoneally 30 minutes before each moxibustion. After 12 hours of reperfusion, the rats were scored for neurological deficits, and the cerebral infarct volume was calculated by 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining method. The levels of oxidative stress factors in the infarcted tissues were detected by the kit method, and western-blot method was used to detect the expression levels of SIRT1,FoxO3,p-FoxO3 and brain-derived neurotrophic factor in the ischemic area of the cerebral cortex. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After 12 hours of reperfusion, the neurobehavioral score in the model group was significantly higher than that in the sham-operated group(P<0.01),while the score in the moxibustion pretreatment group was significantly lower than that in the model group(P<0.01)and moxibustion pretreatment+EX527 group(P<0.05).There were no obvious infarct foci in the brain tissue of the sham-operated rats, but obvious ischemic foci were observed in the right side of the brain tissue of the rats in the model group(P<0.01).The right infarct volume in the moxibustion pretreatment group was significantly reduced compared with the model group(P<0.01),while the right infarct volume in the moxibustion pretreatment+EX527 group was significantly enlarged compared with the moxibustion pretreatment group. After 12 hours of reperfusion, the level of malondialdehyde was significantly elevated(P<0.01)and the expression of superoxide dismutase was significantly decreased(P<0.01)in the model group compared with the sham-operated group. The levels of malondialdehyde was significantly decreased(P<0.01,P<0.05)and the expression of superoxide dismutase was significantly increased(P<0.01,P<0.05)in the moxibustion pretreatment group compared with the model group and the moxibustion pretreatment+EX527 group.Western blot results showed that the expression levels of SIRT1,FoxO3,p-FoxO3,and brain-derived neurotrophic factor proteins were significantly higher in the model group compared with the sham-operated group(P<0.01);compared with the model group, the expression levels of SIRT1,FoxO3,and brain-derived neurotrophic factor were significantly higher in the moxibustion pretreatment group(P<0.01),and p-FoxO3 expression was significantly lower(P<0.01);compared with the moxibustion pretreatment+EX527 group, the expression levels of SIRT1,FoxO3,and brain-derived neurotrophic factor were elevated in the moxibustion pretreatment group(P<0.05),and no statistically significant difference was found in the p-FoxO3 expression(P>0.05).To conclude, moxibustion pretreatment can significantly improve neurological function in rats after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion,and the mechanism may be related to the activation of SIRT1/FoxO3 pathway to reduce oxidative stress injury in the rat model of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND:Mesenchymal stem cells have great potential in the treatment of ischemia-reperfusion injury of skin flaps. However, their defects and the decline of their role in the treatment of ischemia-reperfusion injury of skin flaps restrict their wide application. OBJECTIVE:To review the strategies for improving the treatment of ischemia-reperfusion injury of skin flaps with mesenchymal stem cells, and provide a reference for its further theoretical research and clinical application. METHODS:Relevant documents included in CNKI,WanFang and PubMed were searched. The Chinese and English search terms were"mesenchymal stem cell,ischemia-reperfusion adjustment of skin flap, mesenchymal stem cells, stem cells, skin flap,ischemia-reperfusion injury, pretreatment, gene modification, biomaterial packaging, joint application".The relevant documents since 2007 were retrieved, and the documents with little relationship between the research content and the article theme, poor quality and outdated content were eliminated through reading the article, and finally 75 documents were included for summary. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Mesenchymal stem cells can inhibit inflammatory reactions, resist oxidative stress and induce angiogenesis, which has great potential in the treatment of skin flap ischemia-reperfusion injury.(2)Although mesenchymal stem cells have shown great potential in the treatment of skin flap ischemia-reperfusion injury, their shortcomings in treatment have limited their widespread clinical application.Through pre-treatment(cytokines,hypoxia,drugs,and other pre-treatment mesenchymal stem cells),gene-modified mesenchymal stem cells, biomaterial encapsulation of mesenchymal stem cells,as well as the combined use of mesenchymal stem cells and other drugs or therapeutic methods, can not only overcome the shortcomings of mesenchymal stem cells in treatment, but also improve their therapeutic effectiveness in skin flap ischemia-reperfusion injury.(3)Therefore,further improving the effectiveness of mesenchymal stem cells in treating skin flap ischemia-reperfusion injury and exploring its therapeutic potential are of great significance for the research of mesenchymal stem cells and the treatment of skin flap ischemia-reperfusion injury.

Abstract The appropriate time for the administration of P2Y12 inhibitors in patients with non-ST elevation acute coronary syndrome has been the subject of debate for two decades. The current recommendations of the European guidelines suggest administering acetylsalicylic acid and waiting for the coronary angiography and once the anatomy is known, adding a P2Y12 inhibitor only in those cases in which an early interventional strategy is scheduled. However, in the real world, the strategy to perform pretreatment or not is more complex. There is uncertainty regarding whether the patient can access a coronary angiography within 24 hours. In this scenario, pretreatment upon admission of intermediate or high-risk patients could be an option if it is not studied with catheterization within 2 to 4 hours of admission, previously analyzing the patient's ischemic and bleeding risk. Large-scale studies comparing these two options are still lacking.

RESUMEN

Human hormones at trace levels play a vital role in the regulation of a variety of functions and systems in the body, and an imbalance in hormone levels can lead to the emergence and development of diverse diseases. Therefore, the development of reliable sample pretreatment methods and sensitive and accurate analytical techniques for human hormone detection could contribute to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, providing significant improvement for human health. Human samples which are usually used to detecting hormones, such as blood, saliva, urine and other matrix are more complex, so sample pretreatment is an important step to ensure the accuracy and reliability in the detection of hormones. In this review three common sample pretreatment methods including solid phase extraction (SPE), liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) and protein precipitation (PP) methods are discussed. Then, recent research progress in conventional techniques like liquid/gas chromatography and liquid/gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC/GC-MS/MS), as well as some novel strategies, such as immunoassay including chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA), lateral-flow immunoassay (LFIA) and time-resolved fluoroimmunoassay (TRFIA), and sensor technology including electrochemical (EC), fluorescent (FL) and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) sensors, and microfluidic chip analysis are discussed for human hormone detection. Finally, the future perspective on the use of these methods for hormone detection is considered. It is hoped to provide powerful insights to researchers for the relevant researches.

RESUMEN

Liposome nanomedicine is a new drug preparation with nano scale, which is encapsulated by lipid bilayer vesicle structure. As a drug delivery carrier, liposome has many advantages such as good biocompatibility, biodegradation in vivo and strong targeting. The application of liposome nano drug delivery system can improve the pharmacokinetic behavior and efficacy of some drugs in vivo to a certain extent, and reduce toxic and side effects. After liposome nanomedicine enter into the body, free drugs will be released, so there will be loaded drugs and free drugs in the body. Loaded drugs are drug repositories, free drugs are related to their efficacy and adverse reactions. Therefore, the pharmacokinetics study of liposomes should focus on both loaded drugs and free drugs. Quantitative analysis of free drugs, liposome particles and their materials is a big challenge. The bioanalysis and pharmacokinetics of liposome nanomedicines will be introduced and discussed in this review. We hope this review will provide a reference for the development of liposome nanomedicine.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE@#To observe the effect of Tongdu Tiaoshen (promoting the circulation of the governor vessel and regulating the spirit) electroacupuncture (EA) pretreatment on pyroptosis mediated by peroxisome proliferators-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) of the cerebral cortex in rats with cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury (CIRI) and explore the potential mechanism of EA for the prevention and treatment of CIRI.@*METHODS@#A total of 110 clean-grade male SD rats were randomly divided into a sham-operation group, a model group, an EA group, an EA + inhibitor group and an agonist group, 22 rats in each group. In the EA group, before modeling, EA was applied to "Baihui" (GV 20), "Fengfu" (GV 16) and "Dazhui" (GV 14), with disperse-dense wave, 2 Hz/5 Hz in frequency, 1 to 2 mA in intensity, lasting 20 min; once a day, consecutively for 7 days. On the base of the intervention as the EA group, on the day 7, the intraperitoneal injection with the PPARγ inhibitor, GW9662 (10 mg/kg) was delivered in the EA + inhibitor group. In the agonist group, on the day 7, the PPARγ agonist, pioglitazone hydrochloride (10 mg/kg) was injected intraperitoneally. At the end of intervention, except the sham-operation group, the modified thread embolization method was adopted to establish the right CIRI model in the rats of the other groups. Using the score of the modified neurological severity score (mNSS), the neurological defect condition of rats was evaluated. TTC staining was adopted to detect the relative cerebral infarction volume of rat, TUNEL staining was used to detect apoptosis of cerebral cortical nerve cells and the transmission electron microscope was used to observe pyroptosis of cerebral cortical neural cells. The positive expression of PPARγ and nucleotide-binding to oligomerization domain-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) in the cerebral cortex was detected with the immunofluorescence staining. The protein expression of PPARγ, NLRP3, cysteinyl aspartate specific protease-1 (caspase-1), gasdermin D (GSDMD) and GSDMD-N terminal (GSDMD-N) in the cerebral cortex was detected with Western blot. Using the quantitative real-time fluorescence-PCR, the mRNA expression of PPARγ, NLRP3, caspase-1 and GSDMD of the cerebral cortex was detected. The contents of interleukin (IL)-1β and IL-18 in the cerebral cortex of rats were determined by ELISA.@*RESULTS@#Compared with the sham-operation group, the mNSS, the relative cerebral infarction volume and the TUNEL positive cells rate were increased (P<0.01), pyroptosis was severe, the protein and mRNA expression levels of PPARγ, NLRP3, caspase-1 and GSDMD were elevated (P<0.01); and the protein expression of GSDMD-N and contents of IL-1β and IL-18 were increased (P<0.01) in the model group. When compared with the model group, the mNSS, the relative cerebral infarction volume and the TUNEL positive cells rate were decreased (P<0.01), pyroptosis was alleviated, the protein and mRNA expression levels of PPARγ were increased (P<0.01), the protein and mRNA expression levels of NLRP3, caspase-1 and GSDMD were decreased (P<0.01), the protein expression of GSDMD-N was reduced (P<0.01); and the contents of IL-1β and IL-18 were lower (P<0.01) in the EA group and the agonist group; while, in the EA + inhibitor group, the protein expression of PPARγ was increased (P<0.01), the protein and mRNA expression levels of NLRP3 and GSDMD were decreased (P<0.01, P<0.05), the mRNA expression of caspase-1 was reduced (P<0.01); and the contents of IL-1β and IL-18 were lower (P<0.01). When compared with the EA + inhibitor group, the mNSS, the relative cerebral infarction volume and the TUNEL positive cells rate were decreased (P<0.05, P<0.01), pyroptosis was alleviated, the protein and mRNA expression levels of PPARγ were increased (P<0.01), the protein and mRNA expression levels of NLRP3, caspase-1 and GSDMD were decreased (P<0.01), the protein expression of GSDMD-N was reduced (P<0.01); and the contents of IL-1β and IL-18 were declined (P<0.01) in the EA group. Compared with the agonist group, in the EA group, the relative cerebral infarction volume and the TUNEL positive cells rate were increased (P<0.05, P<0.01), the mRNA expression of PPARγ was decreased (P<0.01) and the protein expression of GSDMD-N was elevated (P<0.05); and the contents of IL-1β and IL-18 were higher (P<0.01).@*CONCLUSION@#Tongdu Tiaoshen EA pretreatment can attenuate the neurological impairment in the rats with CIRI, and the underlying mechanism is related to the up-regulation of PPARγ inducing the inhibition of NLRP3 in the cerebral cortex of rats so that pyroptosis is affected.

RESUMEN

Objective:To investigate the appropriate pretreatment methods for single cell RNA sequencing of airway aspirate cells. Methods:Four fresh airway aspirate specimens were collected from four patients with acute respiratory tract infections. These specimens were digested with airway aspirate digester and prepared into single cell suspension. The cells were used for library construction directly (DE), or fixed with 10×Genomics Chromium Next GEM Single Cell Fixed RNA Sample Preparation Kit and then mixed to construct the library (DF), or cryopreserved, thawed, fixed (FF) before mixed to construct the library. All three methods were treated with oil emulsion using 10 4 cells and subjected to single-cell sequencing using the 10×Genomics platform. The number of obtained cells, data quality, annotated cell types and expression of marker genes were analyzed. Differences in the expression of highly variable genes (HVGs) of the same cell subsets obtained by the three pretreatment methods were compared using Pearson correlation. Expression of the differentially expressed genes in the same cell subpopulation obtained by different pretreatment methods was also compared. The correlation of the expression of differentially expressed genes between the same cell subsets obtained by the three pretreatment methods was analyzed by Pearson correlation. Results:The median numbers of single cells obtained using DE, FF and DF methods were 2 733, 1 140 and 5 897 ( P>0.05). The unique molecular identifiers were higher than 500. The median numbers of genes obtained using the three methods were 801, 887 and 1 259 ( P>0.05). The cells with novelty score over 0.8 accounted for 99%, 87% and 93%, respectively. There were nine cell subsets obtained by the three methods, including squamous cells, secretory cells, ciliated cells, T cells, B cells, macrophages, plasma cells and neutrophils. DF and FF methods could obtain more basal cells with specific high expression of keratin 5 than DE method. The differentially expressed and highly variable genes in the same cell subsets obtained by the three pretreatment methods showed high consistency in their expression with a significant correlation ( P<0.001). Conclusions:Under the same sequencing data volume, the quality of data obtained from fixed airway aspirate single-cell suspensions using the method of probe hybridization and transcriptome sequencing was comparable to that obtained directly from fresh cells. This method was more suitable for the pretreatment of clinical samples used for single-cell RNA sequencing.

RESUMEN

Objective:To analyze the HIV-1 subtypes and drug resistance among newly reported HIV/AIDS cases before antiretroviral therapy (ART) in Hangzhou. Methods:Blood samples were collected from newly diagnosed HIV-1/AIDS cases not receiving ART in Hangzhou from 2020 to 2022. HIV-1 pol gene was amplified and then sequenced. A phylogenetic tree was construct using MEGA7.0 software to analyse the HIV-1 subtypes, The sequences were submitted to the Stanford University drug resistance database to identify drug resistance mutation sites and drug sensitivity. Results:A total of 2 700 sequences were obtained. Twelve subtypes were identified, and the predominant subtypes were CRF07_BC (46.8%, 1 263/2 700) and CRF01_AE (34.6%, 933/2 700). The overall drug resistance rate before ART was 8.1% (220/2 700) and the resistance rates to protease inhibitors (PIs), nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs) and non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTIs) were 2.8% (75/2 700), 1.3% (36/2 700) and 4.4% (119/2 700), respectively. Among the 220 drug-resistant cases, mutations conferring resistance to PIs (Q58E), NRTIs (M184V/I) and NNRTIs (K103N/S and E138A/G/K/Q) were detected in 47 (21.4%), 13 (5.9%), 42 (19.1%) and 41 (18.6%) patients, respectively.Conclusions:HIV-1 genotypes were highly complex in newly reported HIV/AIDS cases in Hangzhou from 2020 to 2022. There were cases showing moderate or high resistance to backbone drugs before ART, indicating that HIV-1 monitoring should be strengthened to avoid treatment failure and reduce the spread of drug-resistant strains.

Non-hematopoietic adverse reactions, hematopoietic reconstruction time, remission rate post-ASCT and minimal negative rate of residual disease (MRD) on flow cytometry within 3 months post-ASCT and survivals were analyzed. Results:In Bor-HDM and HDM groups, median time of neutrophil engraftment was 12(8-30) and 11(8-29) day and median time of platelet reconstitution 16(8-33) and 16(7-32) day respectively. There was no significant inter-group difference ( P=0.890, P=0.638). In Bor-HDM group, the most common non-hematological adverse reactions were nausea (n=21, 58.0%) and diarrhea (n=11, 30.6%). There was no transplant-related death.Complete remission (CR) rate was (25/36, 69.4%) versus (9/22, 40.9%). The inter-group difference was statistically significant ( P=0.032). Median follow-up period was 29.0(2.0-91.0) vs. 20.5(5.0-114.0) month, 3-year progression-free survival(PFS)62.1% vs. 39.7% and 3-year overall survival(OS) 83.8% vs. 62.5%.There were relapse (n=10 vs.10) and death (n=6 vs. 7). Median PFS in Bor-HDM and HDM groups was non-attained and 27 months( P=0.047) and median OS time non-attained and 40 months respectively ( P=0.282). Multivariate analysis revealed that CR was an independent risk factor for PFS ( HR=28.896, 95% CI: 6.130-136.198, P<0.001). Non-CR was an independent risk factor for OS ( HR=3.843, 95% CI: 1.334-11.071, P=0.013; HR=28.595, 95% CI: 6.273-130.355, P<0.001). Conclusions:Bor-HDM pretreatment regimen of ASCT is both safe and efficacious for MM patients.

A high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC), which refered to the determination in the 2020 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia, was used for quantitative analysis of resource components in MOCD. Four kinds of pretreatment agents were used to separate the resource components from MOCD, and the mechanism of different pretreatment agents was investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM), X-ray powder diffraction(XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR). ResultMagnolol, honokiol and lignocellulose were identified as the main resource components of MOCD by qualitative and quantitative analysis. Under the conditions of 1% NaOH, reaction temperature at 80 ℃ and reaction time of 60 min, the concentration of reducing sugar produced by the enzymatic hydrolysis was 32.18 g·L-1, which was 79.8% higher than that of the untreated MOCD. After adding tween-80, the enzymatic hydrolysis time was reduced to 1/3 of the original time, the concentration of reducing sugar was increased by 102.0%. And the total recovery of magnolol and honokiol in the pretreatment solution was 69.23%. ConclusionMagnolol, honokiol and lignocellulosic components in MOCD are valuable for development and utilization, the combination of alkaline pretreatment and tween-80 can realize the recovery and utilization of these three resource components, which can provide a new idea for comprehensive utilization of resource components in MOCD.

RESUMEN

Background: Pre-treatment loss to follow up (PTLFU) is defined as diagnosed TB patients not initiated on treatment within 14 days of TB diagnosis. Bringing these PTLFU cases into care can reduce the dis-ease transmission and mortality. The present study was undertaken with main objectives to study the prevalence of PTLFU in TB patients and to know the reasons for PTLFU. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 38 PTLFU TB patients of Davangere dis-trict, Karnataka from January to March 2019. Study participants were personally interviewed using pre-tested, semi-structured questionnaire. Data was analyzed using SPSS software. Results: The prevalence of PTLFU in TB patients is 3.6%. The reasons for PTLFU were, out of the 38 study subjects, 17 (47%) of them were initiated on treatment in private sector but reported as PTLFU. 7 (18%) died in hospital before treatment initiation. 7 (18%) did not start the treatment because of fear of side effects following anti tuberculosis treatment, whereas 2 (6%) of them did not take treatment by see-ing the side effects in others and 5 (13%) had alcoholic withdrawal effects. Conclusions: Improvement in recording of contact details, biometric registration of all presumptive TB cases and pre-treatment counselling of all diagnosed TB patients may reduce PTLFU.

Bolivian diatomaceous earth is a potentially lower cost silica source than conventional high purity reagents used in zeolite synthesis. Due to its complex composition, it is necessary to pre-treat it with sulfuric acid in order to reduce impurities and regulate the aluminum content. In the present work several experiments were carried out with natural Bolivian diatomaceous earth in the pre-treatment stage. In order to determine the effect on the final Si/Al ratio, the temperature of the acid pre-treatment was varied between 50 to 155 °C. The results show that the Si/Al ratio can be modulated from 6.2 up to 38.1. These treated diatomaceous earth samples were used to synthetise ZSM-5 zeolite. The obtained ZSM-5 zeolites have a Si/Al ratio in the following range: 9.6 to 40.2. XRD, NH3-TPD and Nitrogen Physisorption techniques were used to characterise the properties of the obtained zeolites. The degree of crystallisation and the specific surface area are directly related to the Si/Al ratio, resulting in high values at high Si/Al ratios. The acid sites are composed of strong Brönsted acid sites and, strong and weak Lewis acid sites. For the zeolite with a low Si/Al ratio a high total acidity was found (>0.51 molNH3/Kgzeolite), while at high Si/Al ratios the total acidity is reduced (<0.38 molNH3/Kgzeolite).

ABSTRACT More than ten years after the implementation of the Solid Waste Nacional Policy by Brazilian Federal Law nº 12.305/2010, elaboration and execution of public policies with positive results in Municipal Solid Waste management is precarious. Coprocessing of Municipal Solid Waste in cement kilns can be a viable alternative for improving this scenario, but still encounters many technical and economical challenges. In this study, an estimate of the mean gravimetric composition of Municipal Solid Waste in Brazil is presented, based on secondary data, so as to estimate the resultant lower heating value resultant of different Municipal Solid Waste pre-treatment alternatives; separation of the organic fraction, separation of organic and inert fraction, drying of Municipal Solid Waste and all strategies combined. Based on the obtained lower heating value, an estimate of the yearly potential of Municipal Solid Waste coprocessing in industries already licensed for coprocessing of waste in Brazil is presented. Pre-treatment of Municipal Solid Waste resulted in lower heating value improvements ranging from 20 to 56% when compared to the base scenario. It is observed that, in the scenario where the Municipal Solid Waste is dried but not triaged, up to 8% of the Municipal Solid Waste that is currently disposed inappropriately in Brazil could be received by cement industries for coprocessing, as long as there is technical feasibility for the substitution and transportation.

RESUMEN

Objective@#To explore the effects of different pretreatment agents on primary tooth dentin bonding durability.@*Methods @#Forty-two retained primary molars were selected, 24 of which were cut along the mesial and distal directions; thus, 48 samples were obtained for shear bond strength tests, and the other 18 teeth were used for nanoleakage tests. According to different pretreatments, both experimental samples were divided randomly into three groups (Group A: distilled water pretreatment group; Group B: 2% chlorhexidine pretreatment group; Group C: 10 mg/mL resveratrol pretreatment group). The test specimens were prepared, the shear bond strength was tested, and interfacial nanoleakage evaluation and scanning electron microscope observation were performed to evaluate the effects of different pretreatment agents on the bonding interface immediately and after aging for one hour with 10% sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution.@*Results @#The immediate shear bond strength results showed that there was no significant difference among the three test groups. After aging, the shear bond strength of Group C was significantly higher than that of Group A and Group B (P<0.05). After aging, the shear bond strength of Group A was significantly lower than the immediate shear bond strength (P<0.05), whereas there was no significant difference in shear bond strength before and after aging in Group B and Group C (P>0.05). For Group C, there was no significant difference in interfacial nanoleakage before and after aging. In addition, among the three groups, Group C had the lowest interfacial nanoleakage (P<0.05).@*Conclusion@# Both chlorhexidine and resveratrol pretreatment can improve the adhesion durability of deciduous dentin, but the effects of resveratrol are better than those of chlorhexidine.
