Objective:To investigate the influence of practolol oral liquid on the rat model of water load. Methods: Totally 70 qualified rats were selected and randomly divided into seven groups with 10 ones in each, and the rats were with intragastric administra-tion respectively by practolol oral liquid (20,10 and 5 ml·kg-1 , respectively diluted 20 ml, 10 ml and 5 ml to 20 ml liquid with dis-tilled water), furosemide tablets suspension (0. 033 5 mg·ml-1), Qiliqiangxin capsule suspension(0. 03 g·ml-1) and distilled wa-ter with the same voulme( model) . The rats were placed in metabolism cages. After the administration, the urine volume was recorded every 1 h for 5 hours, the total volume of urine was collected during the 5 h, and the concentration of Na+, K+ and Cl- in the urine was measured. Results:Compared with that in the blank group, the urine volume in 2 h, 3 h and 5 h after the administration in the model group was significantly increased(P0. 05), high-dose practolol oral liquid could significantly increase the Na+ concentration in the urine (P0. 05), however, the total urine volume could significantly increase(P<0. 01), and the medium and low-dose practolol oral liquid could significantly reduce the Na+ and Cl- con-centration in the urine(P<0. 01). Conclusion:Practolol oral liquid has significant diuretic effect in a dose-dependent manner.

Objective To observe the short term effects of Rho-kinase inhibitor and Qiliqiangxin capsule on serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-6(IL-6)levels in patients with chronic heart failure,and explore the mechanism.Methods 120 chronic heart failure patients received conventional treatment for 4 weeks were divided into blank control group(Group A,n=30),Rho-kinase inhibitor treated group(Group B,n=30), Qiliqiangxin capsules-treated group (Group C,n =30 ),and the other 30 cases were treated with Rho-kinase inhibitor combined with Qiliqiangxin capsules(GroupD,n=30).TNF-α,IL-6 and BNP were measured and cardiac function was evaluated before and after treatment.The difference between 4 groups was analyzed. Results After treatment,the levels of TNF-α,IL-6,BNP in the observation group were lower than that in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05 ).The levels of TNF-α,IL-6,BNP in the D group were lower than that in the B and C group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05 ).Conclusion Rho-kinase inhibitor combined with Qiliqiangxin capsule can improve cardiac function and reduce levels of serum cytokines associated with chronic heart failure,which is conducive to the treatment of chronic heart failure.
RESUMEN
Objective To observe the clinical role of Qiliqiangxin capsules uniting conventional western medicine interfering with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods 61 cases of CHF were randomly recruited into a control group(31 cases)and a treatment group(30 cases).The control group was treated with conventional anti-hean failure treatment,and the treatment group was added Qiliqiangxin capsules on the treatment of the control group.After having been treated for 2 courses (fonr weeks),such indexes as clinical efficacy,body weigbt,urine volume,6 min walking distance(6MWD),electrocardiogram,and cardiac ultrasound were measured for both groups.Results The overall efficiency of cardiac function was 93.33%for the treatment group and 74.19%for the control group.There was significant difierence between the two groups(χ~2=4.07985,P＜0.05).The enhance rate of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was(16±4)%in the treatment group as compared to(11±3)%in the control group,also showing statistical difierence between the two groups(t=5.509,P＜0.001).Conclusion Qiliqiangxin capsules combined with conventional western medicine could effectively improve the cardiac function,LVEE clinical symptoms,and quality of life in the patients with ehronic heart failure.
