RESUMEN

Rhodiolae Crenulatae Radix et Rhizoma is a precious traditional Chinese medicine and has extensive pharmacological effects, such as anti-hypoxic, anti-fatigue, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, lowing blood sugar, heart and brain protection. It has been applied to the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, nervous diseases, respiratory diseases, endocrine diseases, fracture problems, emotional stress, and skin diseases. The present review summarized the literature about its clinical use, which would provide a reference for further utilization.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE:To develop a method for rapid determination of moisture and salidroside in Rhodiolae crenulatae.METHODS:The content of moisture was determined by the methods of oven drying (as reference value);the content of salidroside was determined by HPLC (as reference value).Near infrared spectroscopy (NIR) combined with partial least squares (PLS) algorithm were adopted to establish quantitative model for the contents of moisture and salidroside.According to reference value,83 samples were collected for preprocessing spectra by Savitsky Golay with second derivative and Norris Derivative with first derivative.The optimal spectrum range of moisture and salidroside were 7 343.60-6 865.34,5 183.72-4 890.59 cm-1 and 7 050.47-4 327.48 cm-1,respectively.RESULTS:The content determination methodology of salidroside was in line with the requirement.The correlation coefficients of calibration for moisture and salidroside were 0.968 9 and 0.920 3,and the root mean square errors of calibration were 0.273 0 and 0.085 0,respectively.The correlation coefficients of predication were 0.977 1 and 0.930 0,and the root mean square errors of prediction were 0.222 0 and 0.075 5,respectively.CONCLUSIONS:The method is proved to be simple,rapid,non-destructive and accurate,which can be used for the rapid determination of moisture and salidroside in R.crenulatae.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE:To optimize the extraction technology of Compound Rhodiolae crenulatae granule. METHODS:The pharmacodynamic index of learning and memory ability was used to screen the water extraction,water extraction and alcohol pre-cipitation and alcohol extraction methods for Compound R. crenulatae granule in mice by Y-type water maze test. Using the compre-hensive scores of salidroside,ferulic acid extraction amount and extraction yield as indexes,orthogonal test was used to optimize the ethanol volume fraction,extraction time,solvent amount and extraction times,and verification test was conducted. RESULTS:Products by alcohol extraction can significantly improve learning and memory ability in the 3 methods;the optimal extraction tech-nology was confirmed to 8-fold 70% ethanol reflux extracting for 3 times,1.0 h each time. In verification test,average extraction amount of salidroside and ferulic acid were 4.884 mg/g and 1.669 mg/g,and average extraction yield was 33.52%(all RSD<2%, n=3). CONCLUSIONS:The optimized extraction technology is stable,reliable,simple and feasible,which can be used for indus-trial extraction of Compound R. crenulatae granule.

RESUMEN

Objective: To establish a determination method for the contents of ternatumoside II, rhodiosin, rhodionin, herbacetin, kaempferol, and rhodiolin in Rhodiolae Crenulatae Radix et Rhizoma and to compare the content differences of the six flavonid compounds in Rhodiolae Crenulatae Radix et Rhizoma from different sources. Methods: Using HPLC-DAD method and Kromasil C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm), with acetonitrile and water as mobile phase, gradient elution at flow rate of 1.0 mL/min and column temperature of 35℃. The detection wavelength was 382 nm. Results: Ternatumoside II, rhodiosin, rhodionin, herbacetin, kaempferol, and rhodiolin had good linearity in the ranges of 0.015 08-0.301 6, 0.123 2-2.464, 0.109 5-2.190 8, 0.007 8-0.156, 0.021 46-0.429 2, and 0.006 48-0.129 6 μg, respectively. The average recoveries of the six constituents were 98.17%-100.52% and RSD values were 1.64%-1.98%. Conclusion: The method is simple and accutate. It provides the reference for comprehensive quality control of Rhodiolae Crenulatae Radix et Rhizoma.

RESUMEN

Objective To study the ultrasonic extraction technology of tyrosol in Rhodiolae Crenulatae Radix et Rhizoma;To mathematically simulate the extraction process.Methods The content of tyrosol was set as index;HPLC was used;the ultrasonic extraction process of tyrosol in Rhodiolae Crenulatae Radix et Rhizoma was optimized by an orhogonal experiment and mathematic simulation.Results The optimum ultrasonic extraction conditions were as follows:80%ethanol was used as extraction solvent, the ratio of material to liquid was 1:35 (g:mL), with the extraction time of 30 min and ultrasonic power of 240 W. In these conditions, the extracting rate of tyrosol was 0.150 1%. Compared with the heating reflux method, the extraction time should be shortened by 66.7% and the extracting rate should be increased by 12%.Conclusion The extraction method is simple and the extraction rate of effective components is high. Mathematical simulation values based on ultrasonic extraction are consistent with experiment values.

RESUMEN

Objective: To optimize the purification technology of salidroside with macroporous adsorption resin. Methods: The absorption and elution conditions of salidroside purificatin by various macroporous adsorption resins were investigated with the content of salidroside as index. Results: SP-825 type macroporous adsorption resin was the best choice for the purification of salidroside. The optimized parameters were as follows: the content of salidroside at 1.713-2.570 g/mL, eluting solvent of 10% aqueous ethanol, volume flow at 2 BV/h, and eluant volume at 30 BV. Conclusion: SP-825 type macroporous adsorption resin could significantly increase the purity of salidroside with the advantage of high absorption, high elution rate, low cost, environment friendly, and being applicable for the production in large scale.
