Itinerários de combate da federação paraense de luta marajoara / Combat itineraries of the paraense federation of marajoara wrestling

RESUMO O objetivo deste artigo foi analisar os primeiros passos da recém-criada Federação Paraense de Luta Marajoara (FPLM), e compreender quais os possíveis impactos de sua governança na escolarização e esportivização desta luta. Nesta pesquisa, de cunho qualitativo, a técnica utilizada para a reunião dos dados foi a entrevista não diretiva. Os participantes da pesquisa foram dois membros da FPLM. Constatou-se que a FPLM como instituição autoreguladora estrutura suas propostas de escolarização e esportivização em um contexto de governança esportiva centralizada, estabelecendo-se como detentora de um monopólio sobre a Luta Marajoara ao idealizar intenções voltadas ao impulsionamento local e regional dessa luta brasileira. Contudo, a pesquisa conclui que o longo caminho de "combate" da FPLM se dará entre sua concepção prática autoreguladora em contraste ao sentido crítico e democrático para o reconhecimento da Luta Marajoara.

ABSTRACT The aim of this article was to analyse the first steps of the recently created Paraense Federation of Marajoara Wrestling (FPLM), and to understand the possible impacts of its governance on the schooling and sportivization of this practice. In this qualitative research, the technique used to gather the data was a non-directive interview. The research participants were two members of the FPLM. It was found that the FPLM as a self-regulating institution structures its proposals for schooling and sportivization in a context of centralized sports governance, establishing itself as the holder of a monopoly on the Marajoara Wrestling by idealizing intentions aimed at the local and regional boost of this Brazilian wrestling. However, the research concludes that the FPLM's long "combat itineraries" will take place between its self-regulating practical conception in contrast to the critical and democratic sense for the recognition of the Marajoara Wrestling.

Jogo da malha: sentidos da prática para jogadores do clube de malha João Bonzi, em Iguaba Grande-RJ / Horseshoe game: senses of practice for players of the João Bonzi horseshoe game club, in Iguaba Grande-RJ

O presente estudo tem como objetivo elucidar os sentidos do Jogo da Malha para seus praticantes, considerando em específico, a prática desenvolvida no Clube de Malha João Bonzi, localizado na cidade de Iguaba Grande-RJ. Trata-se de um estudo de caso cuja metodologia assemelha-se à etnografia, considerando a imersão na realidade, entrevistas semiestruturadas, observação participante e registros audiovisuais. As entrevistas foram aplicadas aos principais malhistas e membros da família Bonzi, especificamente ao senhor João, ao seu filho e à sua nora. A escolha foi intencional, pelo fato de serem pessoas que são detentoras de um capital cultural ímpar acerca do jogo (praticantes, organizadores, árbitros) e por serem influenciadores da prática. A Malha, apesar de ser um jogo milenar, rompeu o tempo e continua viva nas práticas e imaginário das pessoas. Entretanto, considerando a falta de incentivo público e massificação das modalidades midiatizadas, a Malha está fadada ao esquecimento e se tornar não mais que um jogo/esporte nos anais da história.

The present study aims to elucidate the meanings of Horseshoe Game for its practitioners, specifically considering the practice developed at Horseshoe Game Club João Bonzi, located in the city of Iguaba Grande-RJ. This is a case study whose methodology is similar to ethnography, considering immersion in reality, semistructured interviews, participant observation and audiovisual recordings. The interviews were applied to the horseshoe player and members of the Bonzi family, specifically to Mr. João, his son and daughter-in-law. The choice was intentional, because they are people who hold a cultural capital close to the game (practitioners, organizers, referees) and because they are influential in the practice. The Horseshoe Game, despite being an ancient game, has broken time and is still alive in people's practices and imagination. However, considering the lack of public incentive and massification of mediatized modalities, the Horseshoe Game is doomed to be forgotten and become no more than a game/sport in the annals of history.

Do lazer ao espetáculo: a etnografia do fest verão de São Pedro da Aldeia / From leisure to spectacle: the ethnography of fest verão of São Pedro da Aldeia

O Fest Verão é uma manifestação cultural e esportiva que ocorre em São Pedro da Aldeia, no Estado do Rio de Janeiro-Brasil, desde 1969. É objetivo deste estudo, compreender seu processo histórico e, sobretudo, os sentidos e significados atribuídos ao evento pelos sujeitos locais. A pesquisa foi estruturada a partir da metodologia qualitativa orientada pelos princípios da etnografia. Os instrumentos utilizados foram entrevistas semiestruturadas e de grupo focal, análise de documentos e observação participante. A pesquisa foi realizada durante 12 meses (10/2015-10/2016), como pré-requisito para a defesa de conclusão do curso de mestrado em ciências da atividade física. Foram entrevistados 16 homens envolvidos diretamente com o futebol de praia, com idade entre 40 e 100 anos, sendo três sementes e 13 indicados pelo método bola de neve. Os dados encontrados foram interpretados a partir da triangulação dos diferentes instrumentos utilizados. Desta feita, foi possível concluir que a ocupação da Praia do Centro pelos jovens ao final da década de 1960 tinha como propósito apenas a prática do lazer. Mas, com a criação da praça de esportes no local e a realização da primeira competição oficial em 21 de dezembro de 1969, o Fest Verão começou sua história. À medida que crescia, o Fest Verão alcançava, naturalmente, o status de espetáculo. O que se percebeu decorrente deste processo foi a ruptura na identidade cultural do evento e daqueles que marcaram sua trajetória de vida sobre as areias da cidade.

The Fest Verão is a cultural and sporting event that takes place in São Pedro da Aldeia, in the State of Rio de Janeiro-Brazil, since 1969. The objective of this study is to understand its historical process and, above all, the meanings and meanings attributed to the event by the local subjects. The research was structured from the qualitative methodology guided by the principles of ethnography. The instruments used were semi-structured and focus group interviews, document analysis and participant observation. The research was carried out during 12 months (10 / 2015-10 / 2016), as a prerequisite for the defense of the conclusion of the master's degree in physical activity sciences. Sixteen men directly involved with beach soccer, aged between 40 and 100 years, were interviewed, being 3 seeds and 13 indicated by the snowball method. The data were interpreted from the triangulation of the different instruments used. This time, it was possible to conclude that the occupation of Praia do Centro by the young at the end of the 1960s had as purpose only the practice of leisure. But with the creation of the local sports square and the holding of the first official competition on December 21, 1969, the Fest Verão began its history. As it grew, the Fest Verão naturally reached the status of spectacle. What was perceived as a result of this process was the rupture in the cultural identity of the event and of those who marked their life trajectory on the sands of the city.

Futebol americano no país do futebol: o caso do Cuiabá Arsenal / American football in the football country: the case of Cuiabá Arsenal

O estudo aborda o processo de esportivização do futebol americano em Mato Grosso a partir da trajetória do Cuiabá Arsenal. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória, com delineamento de estudo de caso. Dentre os resultados, verifica-se que a esportivização do Futebol Americano em Cuiabá deu-se por fases: amadorismo, transição, profissional. A equipe inspirou a criação de outras agremiações. Mesmo em época preparativa para Copa do Mundo, com intensa publicidade pelo governo do estado para divulgar o futebol “brasileiro”, o futebol “americano” é assunto da agenda esportiva midiática e cotidiana. Fato que demonstra como é possível ser esportivo.

The study is about the American football's sportivization process in Mato Grosso from the Cuiabá Arsenal's trajectory. This is a qualitative and exploratory research with a plan case study. The results show that the sportivization of American football in Cuiabá MT has been started in phases: amateur, transition and professional. The team inspired the creation of other associations. Even in prep time of the World's Cup, with intense publicity by the state government to promote the ''brazilian'' soccer, the ''american'' football is the subject of media and daily sports agenda. Which demonstrates how possible it is to be sporting.
