OBJECTIVE:To provide references for the evolving and standardization of Chinese online pharmacy regulation. METHODS: We explored the online pharmacy regulations in the USA and European countries in term of the mode, scope and means of regulation as well as analyzed the existing problem in online pharmacy of China. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: Some issues such as administrative regulation and self-discipline of industries, domestic regulation and international cooperation, pharmacy regulation and consumer education etc should be taken into fully consideration in the practice of Chinese online pharmacy regulation.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the way to develop online pharmacy in China. METHODS: The online pharmacy was compared between China and the USA in respect of authentication, qualification of enterprises, distribution of medicines, management scope, payment, and protection of consumers' interest; and the implication of the development of the USA online pharmacy for China was analyzed. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: In the development of online pharmacy, China should draw experiences from the USA to introduce multiform management model, carry out multi- level online drug quality control, and to establish measures such as the compensation system for the drug induced sufferings.

OBJECTIVE: To provide references for the improvement of categorized management of drugs in China. METHODS: The problems in China's categorized management of drugs were analyzed by drawing a comparison between China and USA in the categorized management of drugs. RESULT & CONCLUSION: China should draw on useful experiences from the developed countries to improve the categorized management of drugs from multi-aspects.

OBJECTIVE: To provide references for the evolvement of the administration of drug labels and package inserts in China. METHODS: By content analysis in non-contact research, 23 law documents relevant to American drug labels and package inserts were collected from FDA website, of which, 7 were acts, 1 federal regulation and 15 guiding principles RESULTS: The drug labels and package inserts of the prescription drugs and the over-the-counter drugs in US were administrated in classification with an emphasis on the contents and formats. CONCLUSIONS: A set of comprehensive lawful system for drug labels and package inserts has been established in American, from which China should draw experience to ensure the comprehensiveness, objectiveness and accuracy of drug information and guarantee safety and efficacy of drugs.
RESUMEN
I took a summer course at the School of Nursing of the University of Delaware in the United States. The 4-week neurology and neurosurgery course had been organized by a clinical nurse specialist. The curriculum was extremely effective because one clinical topic was taught for a certain period of time. This system has been judged to be useful for teaching clinical nursing. A similar program might also be useful for nursing schools in Japan.
