RESUMEN
Objective@#To explore the efficacy, toxicity and prognosis of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy combined with concurrent chemotherapy for locally advanced cervical cancer.@*Methods@#From January 2014 to January 2015, 96 patients with locally advanced cervical cancer in Yuncheng Central Hospital were selected and randomly divided into radiotherapy group and concurrent chemoradiotherapy group according to the digital table, with 48 cases in each group. The radiotherapy group received CT based three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy and three-dimensional 192Ir after loading irradiation technology, the concurrent chemotherapy group received docetaxel plus cisplatin chemotherapy synchronous three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy and three-dimensional 192Ir after loading irradiation technology. The clinical effect, 2-year survival rate, liver function injury, leukopenia and incidence of side effects, survival of patients and Karnofsky score before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.@*Results@#The effective rate of chemoradiotherapy of the concurrent chemoradiotherapy group was 75.00%, which was higher than 50.00% of the radiotherapy group (χ2=4.181, P<0.05). The 2-year survival rates of the two groups were 75.00%, 95.83%, respectively, which of the concurrent chemoradiotherapy group was higher than that of the radiotherapy group. In the radiotherapy group, 12 cases of liver function injury, white cells reduced in 10 cases, 36 cases of gastrointestinal reaction, 13 cases of nervous system reaction, 1 case of renal injury. In the concurrent chemoradiotherapy group, liver function injury in 11 cases, 14 cases with leukopenia, 30 cases of gastrointestinal reaction, 13 cases of nervous system reaction, 1 case of renal injury, and there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups(all P>0.05). Before treatment, the living conditions and Karnofsky score had no statistically significant differences between the two groups (all P>0.05). After treatment, the survival and Karnofsky score improved more significantly in the concurrent chemoradiotherapy group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).@*Conclusion@#The curative effect of three dimensional conformal radiotherapy combined with concurrent chemotherapy on locally advanced cervical cancer is definite, and it can improve the prognosis of patients with high safety. As to liver function damage, leukocyte depletion and other toxic side effects, there are no statistically significant differences between two groups, so it is worthy of popularizing.

@# Objective: : To observe the short-term efficacy and toxicity of apatinib monotherapy as well as docetaxel plus cisplatin in advanced gastric cancer. Method: : According to inclusion and exclusion criteria, 108 patients with advanced gastric cancer in the 105th Hospital of PLA were selected. According to random table grouping method, there were 54 cases in group A and 54 cases in group B. Patients in group A received continuous oral administration of apatinib alone, while group B received docetaxel plus cisplatin chemotherapy, with 3 weeks as a cycle and 4 cycles for a course. The efficacy and side effects were evaluated 3 months later. Results: : In groupA, there were 4 cases of CR, 25 cases of PR, 18 cases of SD and 7 cases of PD; the ORR was 53.7% and DCR was 87%. In group B, there were 2 cases of CR, 19 cases of PR, 21 cases of SD and 12 cases of PD; the ORR was 38.9% and DCR was 77.8%. The ORR and DCR in group A were significantly better than those in group B (P<0.05). The main adverse reactions were gastrointestinal reaction, myelosuppression, hypertension and hand-foot syndrome, all of which were grade 1 to 2; The incidence of bone marrow suppression and gastrointestinal reaction in group A was lower than that in group B (P<0.05), while the incidence of hand-foot syndrome and hypertension in group B was lower than that in group A (P<0.01). Conclusion: :The short-term efficacy of targeted therapy of apatinib alone was better than that of docetaxel combined with cisplatin chemotherapy, and the toxicity and side effects of both regimens were controllable;Apatinib can be used as the primary regimen for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate clinical efficacy and toxic and side effects of bevacizumab combined with chemothera-py in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer. METHODS:84 patients with advanced gastric cancer were randomly divided into combination group and chemotherapy group, with 42 cases in each group. Chemotherapy group received FOLFOX4 chemotherapy regimen(oxaliplatin+calcium folinate+fluorouracil);combination group was additionally given bevacizumab 7.5 mg/kg intravenous-ly,d1,on the basis of chemotherapy. A treatment course lasted for 21 d,and both groups received 3 courses of treatment. The short-term efficacy, the quality improvement of life, serum tumor marker before and after chemotherapy and the toxic and side ef-fects were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:The effective rate in combination group(57.14%)was significantly higher than chemotherapy group(35.71%),improvement rate of life quality in combination group was higher than chemotherapy group,reduc-tion rate of life quality in combination group was lower than chemotherapy group, the differences were statistically significant(P0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Bevacizumab combined with chemotherapy is effective in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer and don’t increase toxic and side effects.

Chinese materia medica (CMM) cosmetics are made of natural CMM or by adding CMM or its active ingredients into the chemical compound matrices. They are increasingly favored by consumers all over the world due to the facts that they are guided by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory, as well as are green, natural, safe, and reliable. But, not all natural CMM cosmetics are absolutely safe. This paper summarizes the toxic and side effects of some raw materials in CMM cosmetics, which are classified to skin-irritation, photo-toxicity, and the accumulation of toxic like renal toxicity, liver toxicity, neurotoxicity, and so on. This review will provide the references for the proper use of natural raw materials in CMM cosmetics to ensure the safety of consumers.

Purpose:To evaluate the efficacy and toxic and side effects of brain metastases of lung cancer treated with chemotherapy and conventional radiotherapy. Methods:45 cases of brain metastases of lung cancer were treated with sequential chemotherapy of VM26DDP regimens and conventional radiotherapy. The complete remission and partial remission rate ,1-,2-,3-year survival rate and toxic and side effects were observed. Results:The complete remission and partial remission rate of salitary as well as multiple brain metastases of non-small-cell lung cancer and small-cell lung cancer were (92.86%) and 80.94%,75% and 83.33%, respectively . The 1-,2-,3-year survival rate of salitary and multiple brain metastases of non-small-cell lung cancer was 13.33% and 14.29%、9.5% and 4.76%、9.5% and 0. The 1-,2-,3-year survival rate of salitary and multiple brain metastases of small-cell lung cancer were 50% and 50%、25% and 33.33%、25% and 16.67%, respectively. The Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ degree myelosuppression was 33.33%,28.89%,17.78%,8.89%, respectively. Conclusions:The efficacy of brain metastases of lung cancer treated with sequential chemotherapy by VM26+DDP regimens and conventional radiotherapy is better and with less toxic and side effects.
