RESUMEN

【Objective】 To investigate the effect of cold agglutination on blood group typing. 【Methods】 37℃ water bath, absorption elution test and 2-mercaptoethanol method were used to eliminate the influence of cold agglutination. Forward and reverse blood group typing, cross matching, DAT and IAT experiments were then performed on red blood cells and serum after treatment. 【Results】 Before treatment, obvious discrepancy in forward /reverse typing and nontypable cross matching in 16 blood samples were noticed due to cold agglutination. After corresponding treatments, all samples were consistent or negative in forward/reverse typing, cross matching and antibody screening. No adverse reactions to cross matching blood transfusion occurred in patients, and the increase of hemoglobin was in line with the effective standard of transfusion. 【Conclusion】 37℃ water bath, absorption elution test and 2-mercaptoethanol method can be used to eliminate the interference caused by cold agglutination to obtain correct typing results. The strong reactivity caused by cold agglutination in AIHA patients were different from other cases, which deserved our attention.

RESUMEN

Objective Comparison of ELISA for detection of Mycoplasmapneumoniae IgM(MP-IgM)and cold agglutination test for early diagnosis of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in clinical value. Methods ELISA and cold agglutination test were used to detect 500 cases of serum samples infected with Mycoplasma pneumoniae. Results The positive rate of ELISA(54.8%)was significantly higher than that of cold agglutination(28.4%), and there was significant difference(χ2=71.72,P<0.01).The positive rates of ELISA in Fever 3 days(44.2%), 4~7days(46.4%),8~14 days(71.3%),and 15 days(78.6%)were significantly higher than that of cold aggluti-nation 22.1%,25.4%,35.7%,35.7%.The positive rates were increased with fever days extended. These is no sig-nificant difference(P > 0.05)in 1 ~ 3 days and 4 ~ 7 days,8~14 days and more than 15 days(P > 0.05) by ELISA,while there was a significant difference(P < 0.05)in 8~14 days with 1 ~ 3 days and 4 ~ 7 days. Conclution ELISA of detection MP-IgM should be selected prior in clinical detection, especially in the fever 8~14 days.It can obviously improve the early detection rate of mycoplasma infection and give the most useful value for clinical diagnosis.

RESUMEN

Objective To explore the reason of serious interference red blood cell(RBC)parameters in blood routine test and correct method. Methods 30 cases of patients whose results of blood routine RBC parameters obviously abnormal ,According to the interference factors were divided into four groups:cold agglutination (7 cases),severe hemolysis(13 cases),high triglycerides (8 cases),high white blood cell(WBC)(2 例).Take appropriate corrective action for processing respectively. The difference of red blood cell parameters were compared with t test. Results To analysis of interference factors and take appropriate corrective meas-ures,RBC parameters could be more close to the real results. Conclusion We should pay attention to the changes of the RBC pa-rameters,analysis of interference factors, and to take appropriate measures to correct,in order to avoid clinical misdiagnosis and mi-stherapy.
