RESUMEN

Background@#Various cytokine dynamics has been associated with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. We hypothesized that cytokines have an important role in fibrosis development in HCV infection.@*Methods@#All patients received liver biopsies to validate the severity of chronic hepatitis when enrolled in this study. Fluorescent Bead immunoassay was used to measure the following serum cytokine levels: Interferon γ, tumor necrosis factor α, interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, and IL-12. Various statistical analyses were used as appropriate.@*Results@#From all the liver biopsy proven 92 HCV-infected patients, 49 (53.3%) were male, 23 (25%) patients had advanced (fibrosis grades 3-4) fibrosis, and the mean age of the study population was 51.9 ± 9.4 years. Elevation of baseline IL-4 level (>490 pg/mL) was associated with liver fibrosis grade by X2 test (odds ratio [OR] = 2.99; 95%, CI = 1.02-8.78; p = 0.042) and multivariate logistic regression (OR = 4.26; 95% CI = 1.13-16.02; p = 0.032). Also, IL-4 had strong diagnostic value in advanced liver fibrosis by using area under receiver operating characteristics curve analysis. Assessment of fibrosis score was consequently developed from our findings and compared with other noninvasive serum markers to assess liver fibrosis.@*Conclusion@#This study provides evidence that increased IL-4 expression predicted advanced liver fibrosis in treatment of HCV-infected patients.

RESUMEN

Objective To observe the influence of ademetionine for the proteometabolism and fibrosis indexes of patients with chronic hepatitis B.Methods110 patients with chronic hepatitis B in our hospital from January to December 2016 were randomly divided into control group(conventional treatment of hepatitis B group)55 cases and observation group(conventional treatment and ademetionine group)55 cases. The serum expression levels of proteometabolism and fibrosis indexes of two groups before the treatment and after the treatment were detected and compared.ResultsThe serum expression levels of proteometabolism and fibrosis indexes of two groups before the treatment were compared, there were no significant differences, while the serum expression levels of proteometabolism indexes of observation group after the treatment were all higher than those of control group, the serum expression levels of fibrosis indexes were all lower than those of control group, there were all significant differences(all P<0.05).ConclusionThe ademetionine can significantly improve the expression state of proteometabolism and fibrosis indexes of patients with chronic hepatitis B,so the application value for the patients with chronic hepatitis B is relatively higher.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the correlation between serum HCV-RNA level and anti-HCV with liver fibrosis indexes in the patients with chronic hepatitis C.Methods The serum samples were collected in 96 cases of chronic hepatitis C.The HCV-RNA level was determined by real time fluorescence quantification PCR and Anti-HCV was detected by ELISA.LN,PCⅢ and CⅣlevels were detected by the electrochemical iuminescence analyzer and HA was examined by radioimmunoassay(RIA).The correla-tion between the HCV-RNA and Anti-HCV levels with the liver fibrosis indexes was analyzed with the statistic software. Results Among these 96 cases of Anti-HCV positive chronic hepatitis C,52 cases (54.2%)were HCV-RNA positive. With increasing of the S/CO value of Anti-HCV,the detection rate of HCV-RNA was increased, which were 9.5%,37.1% and 92.5%.The differ-ences in HA,LN,PCⅢ and CⅣ levels between the high viral load group and the low viral load group had no statistical significance (P >0.05).Conclusion The positive detection rate of HCV-RNA is related with the S/CO value of Anti-HCV,the higher the S/CO value, the higher the positive detection rate of HCV-RNA.But the HCV-RNA level has no correlation with the liver fibrosis in-dexes.
