Ketosteril, a simple drug but high efficiency in science and practice

Use of ketosteril is a solution of supplying the essential aminoacide without complement of nitrogen for patient so limits the hyperuremia during renal failure. In order to enhance the effect of ketosteril, the patient should take up the low protein dietary. This dietary will limit the hyperuremia. The combination ketosteril with the low protein dietary better limits the hyperuremia, currently without leading to lack of essential aminoacid

Efficacy of ketosteril in treatment of chronic renal failure with h igh level of plasma Cys-C / 中国临床药理学与治疗学

AIM: To observe the efficacy of ketosteril in treatm en t of chronic renal failure with high level of plasma Cys-C. METHODS: 60 patients with chronic renal failure were randomly divided into treatmen t group and control group. The control group was adopted a low protein and low p hosphorum diet and correcting symptoms; the treatment group, based on the therap y of the control group, was given ketosteril; 30 healthy subjects were used as t he normal control to observe changes of Cys-C, Scr, TC, HB, and HDL before and after the treatment.
