Current standards for seeds and seedlings of Chinese materia medica and analysis / 中国中药杂志

Standards for seeds and seedlings of Chinese materia medica are very important to the production, quality control and management of seeds and seedlings of Chinese materia medica. In this paper, the current standards including international standards, national standards, industry standards, local standards and group standards before 2020, involving relevant standards for seeds and seedlings of Chinese materia medica, were comprehensively and systematically summarized. Relevant standards for seeds and seedlings of Chinese materia medica were analyzed based on the standard issue year, the source and types of Chinese materia medica, and whether they are included in the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China 2015. It is suggested that the standards for seed and seedling of Chinese materia medica shall be systematic, professional and feasible, so as to ensure the sould and sustainable development of the seed and seedling industry of Chinese materia medica.

Research Progress in Quality Grading Standardization of Seed and Seedling in Chinese Materia Medica / 中国中医药信息杂志

The quality standardization of seed and seedling is not only the basis of standardized production of Chinese materia medica, but also the important content of standardization of Chinese medicine. To grade quality of seed and seedling and establish grading standards are an important part of seed and seedling standardization of Chinese materia medica. This article reviewed the recent research progress in the quality grading of seed and seedling in different types of Chinese materia medica, in order to provide a reference for further research and development.

Status of traditional Chinese medicine materials seed and seedling breeding bases / 中国中药杂志

Seeds and seedlings are the material basis of traditional Chinese medicine materials production, and the construction of traditional Chinese medicine materials seed and seedling breeding bases is beneficial to the production of high-quality traditional Chinese medicine materials. The construction of traditional Chinese medicine materials seed and seedling breeding bases is one of the major topics of Chinese medica resources census pilot. Targets, tasks of traditional Chinese medicine materials seed and seedling breeding bases based on Chinese medica resources census pilot were expounded.Construction progress including hardware construction, germplasm conservation and breeding, procedures and standardsestablishment, social servicesare presented. Development counter measures were proposed for the next step: perfect the standard and system, maintain and strengthen the breeding function, strengthen the cultivation of multi-level talents, explore market development model, joint efforts to deepen services and development.
