RESUMEN

The present study aimed to explore the correlation between agronomic traits and quality indexes of Dendrobium nobile and its application value in agricultural breeding. The cultivated strains of D. nobile in Hejiang-Chishui producing areas were extensively collected, and the main agronomic traits and quality indexes were measured. The agronomic traits with significant correlation with quality indexes were screened out by the correlation analysis, and then the parental lines and self-bred F_1 generation plants were furtherverified. Among 96 lines of D. nobile, the content of soluble polysaccharides showed a significant negative correlation with dendrobine( P < 0. 01),and no significant correlation with agronomic traits in stems and leaves. The content of dendrobine exhibited a significant positive correlation with the stem width-thickness ratio( at the largest cross section; P < 0. 01),and no significant correlation with other agronomic traits. Regression analysis further verified the positive correlation between dendrobine content and stem width-thickness ratio( R2> 0. 9). Two lines,JC-10 and JC-35,with significant differences in stem width-thickness ratio were screened out( P <0. 05). The corresponding F1 generation plants by self-pollination both showed that the dendrobine content was higher with greater stem width-thickness ratio( P < 0. 01). The experimental results suggested that within a certain range, the dendrobine content was higher in D. nobile with flatter stem. Therefore,in the breeding of D. nobile, this specific trait could be used for screening plants with high content of quality indexes such as dendrobine.

RESUMEN

Objective:To investigate the stress distribution surrounding an implant under different thickness of cancellous bone and cortical bone, and to analyze the influence of thickness ratio and total thickness of bone tissues on the reliability of an implant. Methods:By using the commercial finite element method software Abaqus, a simplified three-dimensional model of a jawbone consisting of a cancellous bone,a cortical bone,an implant, and a ceramic crown was constructed, and then the computation was performed.Under the condition that the system was loaded by lateral and normal stresses, the influence of thickness ratio and total thickness of cancellous bone and cortical bone in the stress distribution surrounding the implant was studied, where the thickness ratios were 3∶1, 2∶1, 1∶1, 1∶2, and 1∶3;the total thickness were 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 mm, respectively. Results:The maximum stresses on the cortical bone, the cancellous bone as well as the implant were all found to decrease with the increasing of the total thickness of cortical and cancellous bones, with a higher decreasing rate in the range between 0.5-2.0 mm and a lower decreasing rate between 2.0-4.0 mm. More importantly, the maximum value of stress in the cortical bone within the neck region of the implant was observed to increase dramatically via reducing the total thickness below 2 mm, while it was increased insignificantly when the total thickness was above 2.0 mm. Conclusion:The thickness ratio and the total thickness of cancellous bone and cortical bone have strong influence in the stress distribution surrounding the implant. In dental implantation surgery, the total thickness of cancellous bone and cortical bone should be at least 2 mm, and therefore 2 mm is an optimal value.

RESUMEN

Objective To evaluate the effect of diets rich in Ruditapes philippinarum on the development of atherosclerosis. Methods The rabbits were fed with normal forage or high lipid diet with a daily supplement of Ruditapes philippinarum for 8 weeks respectively. Serum lipid, the area of atherosclerotic plaque and IMT were analysed. Results Compared with control group, serum lipid profiles didn't change obviously and atherosclerotic lesion was not observed in group fed with a supplement of RP. Compared with model group, the concentration of serum TC, TG and LDL C/HDL C decreased significantly, while the concentration of serum HDL C increased significantly in group fed with high lipid forage and a supplement of RP (p
