Synthesis of some phenolic esters, anilides and ureides of 3-O-acetyl glycyrrhetic acid of biological interest

Three series of 3-O-acetyl glycyrrhetic acid derivatives were synthesized; namely, phenolic esters IIIa-e, thioester IIIf, anilides IVa-n and N-substituted ureides VIa-d derivatives. Some of these compounds were subjected to preliminary screening of their antimicrobial and antiulcerogenic activities
