RESUMEN
Sixty females cervices were collected from archival fixed paraffin wax embedded tissue blocks [30 carcinoma, 6 CIN 3, 4 CIN 2, 9 CIN 1, 5 hyperplasia, 6 control]. Sections were prepared for examination hematoxylin eosin and silver stain for counting AgNORs per nucleus. AgNORs were significantly increased in carcinoma of the cervix followed by CIN 3, CIN 2, CIN, hyperplasia and the least value is the control cases
