Abstract:Purpose: In this paper summarize chemical compound and pharmacological effect of Gardenia Jasminoides Ellis.Background: Gardenia Jasminoides Ellis(Jurur) is one of always used medicine plants in Mongolian medicine. Gardenia Jasminoides Ellis has bitter flavor and cool quality and mainly used remove to hot of blood, remove to badgan and shar etc.Method: Вy analys methond and documents method to analyzed research articlest and material of Gardenia Jasminoides Ellis in China Biological Medical Digest Data-base and Chinese Journals Full Text Data-baseResult and Conclusion: Gardenia Jasminoides Ellis has variety of chemical compound, including Iridoid , Chlorogenic acid, Triterpenoid, Volatile oil and polysaccharide and has many pharmacological effect such as Cholecyst, liver protective effect, reduce to blood fat and blood press, anti-atherosclerosis and anti cerebral ischemic injury. "Biologically active supplement is natural health care food with no harm to the human body, rich in various vitamins and prevent us from disease. Aim of medicine is prevent from disease, treatment, diagnosis and to be clear such as indications, use, dose, main active substance, regulation of physiology. In This article, related knowledge of medicine and health care food, to clarify the relationship between health care food and medicine, which provide evidence for how to use health care food and medicine correctly. Biologically active supplements have many effects such as protects human body, improve health, prevent from disease etc, but the effects nature is not same. "Amomum Villosum Lour is to keep to hot flavour and warm, oiliness, sharp, light with dry quality. It contains abundant amount of Bornyl acetate, Flavonoid, Polysaccharide, organic compound. In Mongolian medicine, Amomum Villosum Lour have many pharmacological effects such as to heal renal disease with cold quality, remove accumulated Qi in renal and heart, anti vomiting, improve appetite etc. Also in Chinese medicine mainly used to remove dampness to improve appetite, warm spleen to treat diarrhia, regulate Qi to prevent miscarriage etc. This research is to summarized the research of chemical major compound and research of pharmacological effect systematically on the basis of reviewing every researched aspects of Amomum Villosum Lour and it will provide theoretical evidence for further research of Amomum Villosum Lour."
