RPA tear secondary to hypotony and a large choroidal detachment after filtration surgery: report of a case

We report a case of tearing of the retinal pigment epithelium [RPE] following filtration surgery that was complicated by hypotony, choroidal detachment and exudative retinal detachment. Hypotony followed by choroidal detachment may be a mechanism of RPE tear formation
