Résumé
A prospective r and omized single-blind controlled study was undertaken to compare the technique of removing the tonsils using conventional dissection with selective ligation versus radio-frequency electrocoagulation by bipolation. The time of the procedure, blood loss, degree of pharyngeal pain, otalgia and incidence of postoperative hemorrhage and other complications were recorded in 30 patients. Radio-frequency electrocoagulation by bipolation is a safe and effective procedure that offers several advantages over that of conventional dissection
