Chicken anaemia virus outbreak in chickens in Saudi Arabia

In a poultry located in western province of Saudi Arabia, there was a complain of downgraded broiler carcasses at slaughter due to the presence of hemorrhages in the skeletal muscles of the birds. Accordingly, an investigation was conducted concerning the outbreak. Clinical and pathological finding consistent with chicken anemia virus [CAV] infection was revealed.
