Résumé
O bullying é um conjunto de comportamentos agressivos, emitidos de maneira intencional e repetitiva.O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar a percepção dos educadores quanto à presença de bullying emsala de aula. A amostra foi composta por 30 professoras do ensino fundamental I de uma escolaparticular de São Paulo. Para coleta de dados foi utilizado um questionário que visava investigar aavaliação do professor quanto à presença do problema, possíveis causas, ações dos pais e professoresante os agressores e sugestões de intervenção para resolução do problema. Os professores assinaramum termo consentindo a participação na pesquisa. Esta pesquisa ocorreu durante o ano letivo de 2007.Observou-se que 93,3% (n=28) dos profissionais relataram ter presenciado ao menos um episódio dediscriminação durante o ano letivo em sua sala de aula. Os professores relataram observar mais atos dediscriminação praticados por meninos do que por meninas. Atribuiu-se a presença dos comportamentosdiscriminatórios à situação socioeconômica da família, sua cor, raça, aparência física e deficiênciasfísicas e/ou intelectual. As estratégias de resolução do problema propostas pelos professores são:explicar aos alunos os prejuízos que seu comportamento pode causar; conversar com os pais dascrianças envolvidas e pedir para que reflitam sobre o que fizeram. Concluindo, observou-se a presençado fenômeno nas escolas investigadas. A participação do professor na avaliação e no planejamento daintervenção parece ser um fator relevante na resolução do problema. Entretanto, as estratégias adotadaspelos professores estão aquém das sugeridas na literatura
The bullying is a set of aggressive behaviors, issued a manner intentionally and repeatedly. Thisstudy aimed to investigate the perceptions of educators about the presence of bullying in theclassroom. The sample was composed of 30 teachers of elementary school I in a private school inSao Paulo. In collects data was used a questionnaire that aimed to investigate the evaluation ofthe teacher about the presence of the problem, possible causes, actions of parents and teachersconfront the aggressors and suggestions of intervention to resolve the problem. The strategies for resolution the problem proposedby teachers are explaining to students the damage that can cause their behavior, talk with parentsof children involved and ask you to reflect on what they did. In conclusion, we observed thepresence of the phenomenon in schools investigated.
